Set in the peak of the cold war, “the bunker” immerses its players into the intriguing world of espionage and military secrets. Players start the game in the role of military officials and are assigned a single task – to save the world! The commander of the nuclear launch facility was secretly working as a double agent. Before disappearing, he initiated a nuclear missile launch sequence that will lead to a war which will destroy most of the life on earth. The countdown timer puts pressure on the players who have less than 60 minutes to find a way to stop the missile launch.

We like this one so much. With people of 2, we escaped with 5mins left. Probably this one is just right in our comfort zone, we found logic is very clear and easy to action. There is one puzzle can be “‘misleading” if you failed to jump out of box, we like the design of this one too. 8/10⭐️

Another fun room and one of Fox in a Box’s more challenging games due to its multi-step puzzles, re-usable props, and linear flow. Solid theming and a good mix of lock and tech puzzles requiring attention to detail, teamwork, and proficiency in mathematics! Our team of 4 struggled in this one the most out of the 3 we played at this venue, finishing with around 25 minutes to spare.

The Bunker was the 3rd room we completed at Fox in a Box Bowral. We took a newbie with us into this one, and it was a little overwhelming for their first ever escape room. However we enjoyed it immensely. There were so many different puzzles to complete in this room, and you had to correctly work your way through the sequence to get the final result. There were specific stations that had to be completed in order, to save the world. Love the staff here, love how they get in character before they take you into the room, as that just adds to the whole experience.

We completed The Bunker room with 2 people with 15 seconds to spare! It was a fun room with a lot of puzzles to complete. All the puzzles flowed well and fit the theme; we particularly enjoyed how the clues were given as they fit the theme as well. Lucy was an excellent game master and we liked how she gave us nudges to guide us. She was very friendly and positive. Overall, a great experience!
