Madge McCarthy, the neighborhood’s beloved (and slightly eccentric) cat lady, is in a full-blown crisis. Her beloved kitty, Whiskers, has mysteriously vanished — just hours before her biggest night of the year: the Double or Nothing Bingo Jackpot. As the community’s favorite bingo caller, Madge has never missed a game… but Whiskers hasn’t had his dinner, and she refuses to leave without him. With time running out, Madge turns to you — her trusty neighbors — to help track down her furry companion. Whiskers could be anywhere in her cluttered, cat-loving home… Can you uncover the clues, outwit the chaos, and reunite Madge with her beloved pet before the bingo balls start rolling?

Not doable for just two people (who are experienced). There was an overload of puzzles that required more hands to get through in a timely manner. I wish we asked the game master to help us when we were losing time. The game master sits in the room with you in a chair by the way, which, if it’s not something you’re comfortable with then I wouldn’t recommend this company because it seems most of their games operate this way. They’re “minding their own business” but we would prefer to have an experience where the GM is in a separate room, personally speaking. But that’s just preference. The actual game was fun and I liked the pacing and the puzzles were well thought out and fun to solve. But yeah, for two people you might find it much more challenging.

This is an extremely cute room! It’s a simple enough theme that I haven’t really seen before, but it works super well because you just get to get in and get going. Carlos is a super cool GM. We were interested in the idea of this location always having GMs in the room with you, but after doing all 4 rooms and having GMs Sam and Carlos, I can confidently say that they make it work and it works well! This is an incredible location that everybody should come and try!

Funny and unique theme. This room is by far their smallest and least impressive, set-wise, but it is fun. It has some interesting puzzles and everything was on theme for an old cat lady. The GM is in the room with you the entire time, which I am not a fan of. It’s just uncomfortable.

Fun and unique theme.z
The set was okay. It felt like an old cat lady’s house.
The staff are all friendly, but having them stay in the room for the entire game is just weird.

Definitely a unique theme.

There are a couple of color dependent puzzles. That is probably the only potential issues.

The puzzles were fun and there was a lot of stuff to do. You can split up at times or you can do everything together, but you have to progress in rapid fashion if you do, otherwise you probably run out of time. The set fits the story pretty well and it was overall quite enjoyable.

Super fun and cute game! Alot of puzzles that my team separated and conquered at the end.

Great atmosphere, creative puzzles, logic chains that makes sense, super fun. Best for 3-5 people depending on experience. Tons to do in this room.
Amazing flow, especially for a group. Some puzzles we worked separately, some together, and everything made sense and aligned with the story.
Fantastic set and prop design, puzzles felt like part of the world.
GM was great. Escape Room LA puts the GM in the room with you and they don't interact unless necessary.
Yes
Super fun and creative puzzles.
Story was light and funny. She lost her cat. Find her cat. But plenty of story within that and lots of humor.
Medium
Easy-ish? If you are an experienced player, the room will be more about the sheer volume of puzzles. There are a lot. Newer players will probably find the room medium to hard.
Mechanical
Very few find-key-open-lock puzzles which is super cool.

This would be awesome for kids, with perhaps one or two adults to help them work through the logic of some of the puzzles.

Pretty fun and cute cat theme. Very much, help granny do stuff at cat lady house. The gm was probably too supportive but I can see that's based on the other people's comments that they weren't supportive lol. We were like chill playing and messing around maybe too much for him. Nice guy tho

The puzzles were entertaining but having a GM in the room was so awkward… no it wasn’t a live actor either.
