The year is 1791. One of the greatest musical geniuses of all time—perhaps the greatest—passes away. His Requiem in D minor remains seemingly unfinished. But what no one knows is that Mozart presumably completed the work after all and entrusted the precious score to a secret friend to protect it from envious eyes. The painter Johann Georg Edlinger created Mozart's last portrait in Munich. What hardly anyone knew until now: Edlinger is said to have also had a small studio in Salzburg.
