Uncle Salem’s Curio Shop

This was such a fun room with so many unique and thoughtfully crafted puzzles, every puzzle, goals were clear and perfectly challenging!

The immaculate attention to detail with full lighting and sound effects made this room so immersive, every single detail is so intentional and adds to the atmosphere, it was so fun to feel transported into this story!

Our GM was extremely welcoming informative! We felt well prepared before entering the room and the GM was able to help nudge us in the right direction without giving away too much.

We loved the spooky but not too scary theming and were blown away by the attention to detail throughout the whole experience.

There was a clear storyline which was very well paced, we spent 48min in the room but being engaged with the story and puzzles made the time fly by!

There was a good mix of difficulty and style between puzzles, some making you think a little extra, but nothing unfair or too frustrating that it makes you feel bad! Puzzle solvers will be able to advance timely.

Timed lighting, sound effects, voice lines, projection, etc, all with an impressive set and well crafted decor and puzzles, Uncle Salem's has it all!

We played as a group of 2, but this room could also comfortably host 4

Most of the spookiness comes from the theming of the paranormal/death as expected from an oddities and curiosities shop. There are periods of darkness and eerie sound effects, but nothing was frightening or jumps out at you.

Dark atmosphere may make it more difficult to see well

Absolutely love the immersive quality of this game! The set is beautiful and so full of detail! The gameplay is linear and signposted very well! Lots of fun surprises throughout the game!

Best Ive ever seen in an escape room!

GM was wonderful! Felt very welcome! Everything is clean and the atmosphere is amazing from the time you first enter the establishment until you leave!

This is a strength for sure and adds so much to the experience! Such a memorable experience!

Because of the linear nature, I would suggest lower numbers.

There are short periods of darkness, but super enjoyable and not scary.

The GM takes on a persona, but never enters the space.

No physically strenuous experiences.
