The Return of the Horseman

Impressive set, immersive tech, and cool story. Some puzzles we had never seen before in our 100+ rooms we've done together. There is a logic puzzle at the beginning that's a big time sink, but it improves from there!

I can see why this is an award winner. I think this is the biggest room I’ve played. It’s a virtual marathon, and yet not overly complicated to where I felt overwhelmed. I actually thought this room was easier than the Mockbuster room at C&D (which was rated at a 6). The puzzles seemed to flow well, and the room was a high production value. I don’t think we came across a puzzle that we couldn’t naturally figure out, and we managed to escape with about 12 minutes left without using any clues. I will say I do like fog effects, but they need to use a different fluid that isn’t as irritating and stinky. We had a blast playing this room and I rank it for sure in my top 5.

This was my frirst foray in the C&D rooms mow that they are in the bigget location. I didn't hate the new set up, I'm looking forward to getting into their wreck room!!! Right, this is about Horseman. I am pleased the owner has stopped trying to trick people, and focused on the story. The room is pretty expansive and well decorated with fairly puzzles the only thing that breaks the feel is the massove projector at one point, but other wise its a solid 8 of 10 room

Very good room! Not too many manual locks, very in-theme and well-decorated. Some unique puzzles and not too linear at some points. First big puzzle I'd say was the hardest since there's a lot of discussing, but everything else was straight forward enough and solved once we figured out what needed to be done. NOT LACKING IN ROOMS. Definitely...not...lacking in rooms. If you want a big escape room, this one is it.

New room! Very nice theme. Good mix of number locks and physical items. Well made 3D printed items.

There is a LOT to do in this game. For two people, we were busy the entire time - finished with just over 8 minutes left (no hints). It occupies a lot of space and the puzzles are decent

This was a very, very solid game and easily my favorite set design that I have seen at Cloak & Dagger. (We have done all of their current rooms, minus the space one). Though each room wasn't super puzzle heavy, this just kept going, which I love. The puzzles themselves were very fun and intuitive. The only downside here is that it felt like we didn't have our game masters full attention, so we received hints and a full puzzle answer we didn't need. The two of us ended up getting out with 12 minutes to spare - which felt wrong considering this was rated a 9 out of 10 on difficulty. We had a harder time on other rooms that are rated half as hard by the company. At one point, we looked at the screen and the complete answer to a puzzle was displayed there - we hadn't even taken a second glance at that puzzle yet, so we could have used a nudge towards it instead of a complete giveaway. At the end the GM mentioned 2 games had let out at once and that's why they didn't come grab us immediately, and then they disappeared pretty quickly after bringing us to the lobby - which indicated that they were clearly splitting their time and not able to completely focus on where each group was at in each room.

The scale of this rooms is pretty impressive, it seemed to keep going and going. The room looked good and it had some interesting puzzles. One puzzle was pretty involved which left us having to reworking it over and over and just guessing at one point hoping were were correct. Even though the spae is large I feel it could have been utilized better but otherwise a good game if you are experienced. May be challenging for newbies.

Really awesome. A buncha rooms. Awesome puzzles.
