A sudden rockslide at Fall Mountain has stranded your group at the campground, cut off from rescue. With dozens of shafts scattered across the slope and air support low on fuel, rescuers will only respond to an active shaft beacon. Your only chance is to descend into the condemned Fall Mountain Mine: get the rusted shaft elevator running, ride it deep into the black, and reach the buried generator. The Beacon was the life’s work of miner‑engineer Patrick Heffernan, who designed a single‑shaft marker to guide aircraft — but the 1949 collapse stopped him short. Now you must venture into the unfinished tunnels and locate Heffernan’s machine and bring it back to life so it can broadcast a distress signal and illuminate your shaft for air rescue. Time is against you: shifting rock, failing supports, and a dwindling window for air rescue mean every minute matters. You only have 1 hour to bring the beacon to life, or be left in the dark forever.

Great game and amazing addition to the lineup at North Valley Escape Room. Very immersive and one of the most unique games I’ve played.

Gameplay

Puzzles and storyline flowed well and everything made sense.

Atmosphere

Theming of the room was amazing. Elevator effect felt very real and immersive.

Customer service

Our GM Alex was great and helped us out with good clues when needed.

Extremely fun! The puzzles are pretty difficult but my group of 4 was able to make it out in time! The creativity in the theming and storyline were really enjoyable!

THIS ROOM TOPS ALL. This room is suitable for any type of escape room player, from those looking for a challenge and who love to push their brains. To those who got forced to come with their friends and like to help here and there, but mostly like to experience the room, this one has it all.

Gameplay

The game flow was smooth; you definitely need to be observant in this room.

Atmosphere

The effects and atmosphere of this room are like none other from this location. The way this room starts is what sets up the whole experience, and it does an amazing job at doing so. Then the experience within the room is such a swing of emotions, one moment you are cruising through the room, then the next, it's all hands on deck. But the ending is such a stressor, but such a relief when my group and I made it out.

Customer service

They were very welcoming in greeting us and running us through the game's story and rules. Our game master was very on top of clues and helping us as needed. Then greeted us as we exited our experience in a very funny in-character fashion.

This is by far one of the best rooms I’ve done. Done well over 150 rooms. Top tier room. Can’t wait to do more at this location.

This room, for lack of a better word, is unpolished. Nothing works like intended. We had to leave the room 2 times because they had to fix things which should have been already working, seeing as we already waited about 20 minutes past our reservation due to them having to fix previous issues from the group before us. Overall, a waste of time as well as money. There are so many better escape rooms in Phoenix, please, go to the Nemesis Club instead I promise it will be better.
