The Hidden Temple

Another great room by Narrow Escape! The theme was extremely immersive and loved the props and puzzles they created for this room. The puzzles were challenging and some made you think harder than some but they were so enjoyable to solve. As always with Narrow Escape we loved the pop culture references they hide everywhere. We took our friend who was new to escape rooms here and he had a blast, finding it really fun!

Raider tomb? I hardly know her! Well, well, well, a return to Narrow and tossed straight into a (not so) hidden temple? Lara Croft has nothing on us. This room was really well designed. I’m partial to a room where your progress is super apparent and the folks at Narrow have nailed it here. The journey through each of the elemental gods and the utilisation of the diary is a functional and exciting way to move through. The set design was also super impressive, tying in seamlessly with the puzzles and avoiding any English to keep the realism of the ancient temple theming. Our host Andre was the goat, buying in to all of our bits whilst also giving us a great theatrical opening to each room. Give him a raise or three. Probably my favourite room at Narrow and definitely worth the trip to Penrith.

One of the best themed rooms we have ever done!! Highly recommended. No padlocks and the pacing of the puzzles were perfect. Puzzles were also super clever. You can tell the designers have put alot of thought into it. ❤️

As recommended by multiple enthusiasts, ‘The Hidden Temple’ was a delight. Packed with Easter eggs, impressive craftsmanship and enjoyable puzzles, Narrow Escape Rooms has built a great temple plundering experience. The team carefully balanced lore delivery with puzzling so that it never felt like you were reading too much. Delivering instant audio feedback across the puzzle inputs felt satisfying, and it was evident just how much care and time was spent on the environment build. It’s clear that Narrow Escape Rooms refines their designs over time, and ‘The Hidden Temple’ is the product of a design team that continues to build from strength to strength. I look forward to my next visit!

Completed this room in around 65 mins with two people. It was a very immersive room with unique puzzles. We loved that it had no padlocks and all the puzzles were on theme. A couple of puzzles stumped us for a bit but we managed to get through the room without any clues. It was a very satisfying experience, highly recommend!!

i literally cosplayed lara croft like this was so good i usually hate a room with no like locks and keys but this was tomb raider downnn i love you lara croft

Narrow Escape’s owners have really gone all out with this room, creating an immersive all-tech room with smooth flow and diegetic puzzles. The set design and atmosphere were great, which were all accompanied by great lighting effects and sounds. This is a must play if you’re visiting Narrow Escape.

An incredible must-play addition to Narrow Escape and the Greater Sydney escape room scene! With immersive floor-to-ceiling theming, seamless tech, diegetic puzzles, slick lighting and sound effects, and cool references galore, this is the one of the most impressive and polished temple/tomb rooms we’ve played to date. The exciting reveal after each solve was super satisfying. We got stuck on one slightly tricky sensory puzzle but managed to figure it out in the end after a few attempts, finishing in 41 minutes.

Great room with zero locks! Very fun story and a fun atmosphere and mechanics. Definitely recommend giving this room a try.

9.5/10!!! When we heard Narrow Escape rooms had opened a new room, we had to come. It previously hosted one of our top 3 favourite room. Within 10 seconds of walking into the Hidden Temple, we knew they were not going to be disappointed The game play, atmosphere, puzzles and technology were the best we have seen. Linear game play that kept us enthralled and rewarded at every turn. Do your self a favour and book in!!
