Escapology rooms are often notorious for not being the best of quality rooms while I do understand this sentiment, I do feel as though sometimes Escapology is able to pull off some well-designed puzzles here and there. My biggest gripes with this room in specific has more to do with how the company as a whole structures their games, almost always following the same linear structure as you maneuver throughout the room, it kills the sense of surprise that is often integral to a good room. Another aspect that frustrated me was quite a bit of props were broken. Which is understandable, it is bound to happen with an influx of groups everyday. But.. this location has only been open a couple months and when integral set pieces are not maintained it can be frustrating from the player's perspective, especially when they are charging a premium for their rooms.. Nonetheless, I thought some of the puzzles were very creative and well-thought out. They were challenging but many red herrings and abstract puzzles lurked throughout as well. Overall a Funtime and hopefully next time we comeback they'll improve on these things!! :0
