283 escape rooms
Lunacy by Horrorville was the 2nd game of Day 6 and the 17th room of our Athens Escape Tour 2026, played with the same team of five. This felt like a clear step up in every aspect compared to Pandemonium. From the set design, to the story (a prequel to their first game), to the sound effects, everything showed refinement and improvement. The puzzles were well integrated and strongly themed, fitting naturally within the experience and supporting the narrative. It really felt like they applied all the lessons learned from their earlier game. The story was engaging and came alive throughout, and the environment offered a nice variety of spaces built around a funfair theme, which added a playful yet unsettling contrast. Everything came together smoothly, creating a cohesive and enjoyable horror experience. Highly recommended for thrill seekers and horror fans.
