5 escape rooms
Escapology's attempt at immersive was a fun room. While still well within their brand, they did some things with the environment, decorations, and effects that were new for them and it worked. It was a good story as well and the puzzles all fit together. Pros: Good atmosphere, soundtrack, and effects. Did not rely on combination locks and had some very nice electromechanical puzzles! Ending was great, wont say more without spoilers. Cons: Use of audio clues was good BUT...having multiple audio clues playing over each other was tough - especially at the low levels they played. Very linear room - no opportunity to work ahead or in groups. For that reason would not recommend for more than 4 ppl. To acheieve more immersion - would ditch the 3D printed props and plastic decoration/props as some of these were already broken.
Gameplay
Flowed very well. Everything fit the story. Only a couple combination locks but they fit with the storyline. Linear, so not group-friendly.
