Nikola Tesla - The Last Experiment

Another amazingly though out room from Mystic. Such a satisfying victory.

Gorgeous game. Cute cocktail lounge in the front with some light delicious bites. We escaped as a team of 2. Loved this room! Some unique puzzles in here I’ve never seen before! Our GM was awesome - shout out to Anna Maria!

Definitely one of the better ones in Denver. The room has a nice flow and a great mix of both puzzles and scavenging. There were a few times we got stumped, but nothing felt frustrating or convoluted. We made it out with 2 people and one hint, with just a few minutes to spare, but I think 3 people is the sweet spot.

Good room, no clock in the room but still get auditory time indicators. Can appreciate the auditory room progression and signals, advanced mechanics, quirky devices, lots of nooks and crannies. Could be frustrating for players not detail oriented. The ending was really cool, a strong experience. Escape rooms are located in a swanky lounge with excellent atmosphere and top-notch nonalcoholic drinks. Business was generous in offering a free drink by achieving the best room score of the week, so all the more reason to get the best time possible!

We had a larger group (8) for this one and it felt like too many. The theme and styling were great. Parts of the decor and props are starting to show their age, getting a bit worn. We accidentally skipped a puzzle because we were able to access a key in an unintended way due to insecure set dressing. The game master had to tell us not to use the door that opened yet, which was very awkward. Overall we had fun. I can see why this is one of the highest rated escape room places in the area. Wish we had time to do others.

Went in with the 3 of us and this room was definitely slightly more difficult than Freya (the other room at this location) It's slightly less linear and there's a lot more searching around which I am bad at but luckily others in my group are much better at. The set itself is beautiful and there are a lot of props. Some of it was slightly overwhelming at times and a couple of red herrings thrown around. There is a lot of tech and everything work as intended which I LOVE. I love tech heavy escape rooms. Some of the puzzles were very satisfying when we figured out the solution. We didn't use hints but some of it did take a minute or two to connect the dots.

4 people definitely felt like too many for this mostly linear room. Great atmosphere in general!! We got stuck on a few puzzles, mostly of our own doing with overthinking.

It was a really fun and challenging room with a great invention/technical theme throughout. There was always something for our family of four to work on, and we stayed in a good rhythm most of the game. We did need a couple small nudges at one point, but the puzzles were clever, satisfying, and very well designed overall. Big shoutout to the game master too. Super personable, encouraging, and great to talk with after the game. Definitely looking forward to trying their other room.

Impressive tech-heavy room. While some games may get the steampunk-y aesthetic right but feel a little flimsy when you actually handle props, this one had both the look and the heft to make things feel real. Great set and effects, good puzzles. My only nitpick is that it's easy to accumulate a pile of items you can't use yet because the room is nonlinear and there's something else you need to discover to make them useful. Juggling all that stuff without losing track of it is itself a puzzle, so I don't mind, but it is a little unusual.

Super fun great theme very original puzzles with no traditional locks all mechanical/electric devices. A step up from most escape rooms. Higher difficulty I would suggest 4 or 6 players. We did it with 4 and it was perfect for experienced players
