Welcome to Mr. Sharp’s High School Detention—the one place no student wants to be stuck after the bell rings! Known for his strict rules and sharp eyes, Mr. Sharp has confiscated your cell phone and locked it away before storming out of the room. To make matters worse, you’ll need an official hall pass if you want any chance of slipping out unnoticed. Your mission: work together with your fellow “students” to solve puzzles, uncover hidden clues, and unlock the secrets of detention. Along the way, you’ll need to outsmart Mr. Sharp’s tricky traps and piece together the combination that leads to your missing cell phone. But don’t stop there—finding the phone is only half the battle. You’ll also need to track down the elusive hall pass to make a clean escape. The clock is ticking, and detention won’t last forever. Do you have what it takes to prove you’re smarter than Mr. Sharp and break free before time runs out? Objective: Recover your confiscated cell phone and find the hall pass before the final bell rings!

This was a fun beginner room. The puzzles were straightforward and there were a good amount of them. We were able to open one item ahead of time which always adds some confusion. Overall, this place is a great local start-up with promise for Central Arkansas.

Gameplay

The game was mostly linear. The puzzles were relatively straightforward and it was a fun experience.

Atmosphere

The set design was consistent, and the props were immersive. It felt like a classroom. Innovative and interesting.

Customer service

The staff was enthusiastic and informative. The GM helped us where we needed assistance and answered questions at the end.

Particularly interesting or different

No

A fun game nonetheless.

Story

Escape the classroom -- well done storyline.

Difficulty

Easy

There were a good number of puzzles and, except for the item that did not work properly, the game flowed well. Most of the puzzles were easier and were fun to solve.

Game tech

Mechanical

Mostly mechanical, with some tech added. Unfortunately, some of the tech didn't work exactly as it was intended. Overall, a fun room.

Ideal number of players

4

We played with four relatively experienced players. Because it is linear an additional two may help but that might also leave folks standing around and watching.

Scary

Not scary

Minimum age

8

It's a school classroom with school stuff. Nothing questionable or objectionable, but a couple of the puzzles are a little more challenging to solve.

Was anything broken?

Yes

An item opened ahead of schedule. We were instructed that it opened prematurely. This still added some confusion but we eventually were able to get back on track. The GM did a good job handling this.
