Cosmic Crisis

This is an incredibly high tech game with very well designed puzzles like many rooms from TEG. Unfortunately there is one aspect of this game that is little more than a massive time sink, that’s prone to glitches/breaking, and is especially difficult with less than 3 people. For us as a small but very experienced duo it almost ruined the entire experience for us. There’s clearly some refining that could make it at least a more intuitive but I know changes like that are harder to do with large companies like this. We spent more than 20 minutes on this one “puzzle” that probably should’ve taken less than 5. All that complaining aside, the game master did compensate us for the malfunctioning/frustrating experience, and that means a lot. Overall I still highly recommend the room, but small groups attempt at your own risk.

This game represented the most technologically advanced of TEG’s that I’ve played, and was also the most story heavy. The world was believable and extremely enjoyable to be in. That said, this game is prone to glitching, which should be resolved as soon as possible for the sake of future players and staff at the venue.
