The Dome

This room was pretty amazing. For a room without any live actors it runs smoothly and is immersive. Quite a fun story once you realize what's going on. For the theme this is pretty much as best as you can execute a room. Other recommendations would be to schedule sometime before or after to play in their lounge. They have a bunch of different types of games like ping-pong, darts, air hockey, and refreshments that are available. You could actually spend quite a bit of time here with your friends if you want to hang out and decompress before or after. They also show you video of your escape room afterwards. It's about 5 to 10 minutes of time that you want a budget afterwards also. If you're using Google Maps or a rideshare to get there, we found that it initially dropped us off on the side of the road, which is on the opposite side of where the actual entrance is. So you want to go to the Welkoop and it's right next to that. 9.5/10

I really wanted to like this room - the theming is great, the puzzles felt really fun, all the tech is so cool, but it is incredibly overstimulating and super duper loud. Ear plugs are a must. Theres also several points in the room that felt like it would be really easy to get injured.

The Dome! A game we have hard about for years, and then we are suddenly here, in the lobby, seeing the iconic door to another world. So, how was it? It was great! It was weird, it was fun, it was a lot of things! Was it my favorite, or top 5 from The Netherlands? No, not for me, but I would still recommend players to experience it. We are fast players, and we spent 58 minutes on this room, so it was just in time. Some parts were fantastic, some frustrating, but mostly fun. The story was not super clear, and while watching the video afterwards (which was really cool), the GM explained some more story, that didn't make a lot of sense to us. All in all a cool game, and I am happy to have finally played it.

I absolutely loved this room! It is probably because it reminds me a lot of Escaparium’s Ctrl Alt Reboot- just an older version of it. I did a lot of smiling through the room as the puzzles were unique and fun! This would be a room I could play over and over and not get tired of! Highly recommend!

Felt like I was in an anime! Play if you want to live out your action adventure dreams. Clever use of space, creative theming and fun vibe changes from room to room. Tricky, but not as hard as I was expecting. We played with 2 but it would be better with 3 or 4. Some elements were physically difficult with only 2 - playing with a very tall man was helpful. Also, your game master shows you a highlight reel after the fact, which was a nice touch.

Wow, what did I just play?! The Dome was a unique, frenetic dash through a variety of environments. We were warned ahead of time that even though we were an experienced group, we should still play really hard. This was 100% accurate, and I'm glad we did - we barely had time left. The set was fantastic, one of the best I've ever seen. Puzzles fit in really well and were quite memorable. Story... OK, I guess? It's unique but not meaningful, and I felt like some things weren't explained well in game (or after) at all. It's fine, I'm not here for the story, I'm here for the gameplay, and The Dome delivered.

Let me reach for a strange analogy... playing The Dome felt like reading Wuthering Height. Not because its Gothic or windswept or brooding. But because I understood almost immediately why its famous. I could see its precision, originality of voice. I appreciated it, but I didn't love it. I frequently found myself thinking “that's clever,” or “what a great way to do a split-room puzzle.” Or “that one puzzle,” the one people were talking about last week on Discord? It's elegant and beautifully designed. But admiration isn't the same as affection. The premise itself is delightfully weird, and I really did love the way the game reorients itself after the first part. But I wanted more. I wanted it to lean harder into its strangeness, to push further and get weirder. When I wanted reality torn open at the perforation, I felt like it wanted to microdose. This was a divisive experience for our team. Half loved it outright. The other half left appreciative.

The hardest I have ever puzzled in my life. Bring your A game.
