Death and Taxes

A unique take on an escape room - inside an actual business! We played Death and Taxes, which looks to be the first in a connected series of rooms, each popping up at real businesses around the SoCal area for a limited time. A truly unique and different type of experience. Death and Texes had us filing taxes in a real Tax Return business. Puzzles were clever, if familiar to escape room tropes. I really like the idea of an overarching story, and pop up locations across the area. An exciting fresh take on an old classic!

Great price! And fun room with a story that is pretty interesting. Staff seemed really nice and helpful. Interesting business idea to use small businesses as an escape room.

This is a pop-up experience in an ACTUAL business. What a cool way to work with local small businesses and build an authentic world for your story. First gen puzzles with locks and codes to be found. On the easy side but fun for a temporary pop-up game. Veteran owned.
