You, the Elite Client Response Team, have been dropped at the Dark Wyvern Mining compound with the utmost of secrecy. There has been a catastrophic electronic warfare event that compromised our 300 years of operations! Your task is to enter the surface office and gain access to the primary control center within the mountain. There are only rumors surrounding this, but this may be one of the largest mine complexes in the world. Once there, you will need your tactical skills to intervene. I have been told that they are dealing with an unintended consequence of the attack, in that it released an aberration of nature that has been held behind a specialized containment field deep within the mountain. One last thing… can you keep from spreading ridiculous tales of what you see in the depths? We know the average miner is shorter than you or I…and so what?! Best of luck!

The room itself was great. Lots of fun puzzles and some pretty cool teamwork opportunities. One problem… We asked if we could do another room immediately afterwards when we saw that there were several bookings open on their website. The manager made us sit out in the lobby for 40 minutes, until all the booking times had passed and then came out to tell us that — because all the booking times had passed — we could not do another room. It was super disappointing to spend 40 minutes waiting only to be told we could no longer do another roo
m. At the end of the day…good room, really bad customer service.

Great room! Loved the genre busting theme! It felt like a real excavation adventure into a fantastical mine! It’s also 90 minutes so there is more time to breathe, solve puzzles, and soak in the scenery. The transition, while really fun, broke on us, which was super unfortunate… Puzzles were good, but the game was very lock heavy. Locks on locks on locks… and also one clue is literally wrong and made one puzzle unnecessarily frustrating. It certainly didn’t help that it led us trying to put that wrong combination into 4-5 locks at the same time… There are fun wow moments and the set design is excellent and immersive. Our group had a lot of fun! One particularly smart puzzle kept our partners very involved! Would recommend digging up this one if you’re IN the area!

I really like the thought behind the set design. There are alot of locks that need to be decoded which wouldn’t be so bad except for that all of the puzzles seemed very sequential. There were times I found myself not doing anything as the other members of my team were solving something; we don’t like to crowd each other.

Loved it - it was a serious challenge, but I never felt like the room was frustrating. The set is amazing and detailed, this is a truly immersive room with a lot of “wow” moments. If you’re experienced with escape rooms, this is a “Do not miss” experience
Very very challenging room, but I loved it (even though we didn’t make it through some of the final puzzles). Loved the progression and storyline, the puzzles were detailed and varied. If you aren’t familiar with the flow of escape rooms, this might be a frustrating room.
The room is very immersive, every set is detailed to a level I haven’t seen before - the special effects were great, there were a lot of impressive moments
Our game master was great - thanks Kyle!

Rating: 2/5 I really wanted to like this room but it ended up being frustrating and disappointing. The set design is wonderful, it was very immersive and felt real enough, I loved the transition between areas which included special effects. However, the puzzle design is where the room falls short. Many of the puzzles lacked creativity and there were just too many locks (padlocks and number locks). Some items required multiple locks to open or we'd open a locked box just to find another lock inside. My teammate jokingly called the room, "lockception." It's usually older, 1st generation rooms that rely a lot on locks, but this is their newest room and most other places have advanced to more creative puzzles. There were also some flow issues, no structure to the searching, we had to try the same combo on multiple locks until we found the right one, and after over an hour of lock puzzles, we were just over it. It's only a 90 minute room because they added so many locks to open. It also didn't help that the game master had no way to hear what were doing so he had no idea what we solved already when we asked for clues, the only communication method was a 2-way radio, but this may have been a temporary issue when we played it.
