The year was 1984. Allan and Ann Garrett and their son, Matthew, disappeared without a trace. Now, nearly four decades later, the family is still missing and the case has gone cold. You must enter their old abandoned house, search for clues, and hopefully unravel the mystery to; Whatever happened to the Garretts?

Great story line, the room was very well designed and fun. There were some tricky puzzles, but very creative. We really enjoyed the room, and had a lot of fun.
Not scary
It gets dark.

This room did not disappoint at all when I saw the other reviews about it, because pretty much everything about the game was pretty straightforward. Sure, we struggled on some puzzles but the overall was pretty enjoyable that I would agree for it to be one of the best escape rooms in Los Angeles.
Piece of advice: Do not overthink and always observe your surroundings

You need at least 4 people in this room because at least one of them will give insights that nobody else in your would be able to see.
Not scary
The room was not scary at all but the mystery of the game itself would put you on your guard at the beginning.

One of my favorite rooms in LA. The production design was top notch, the unique puzzles, the surprises. Incredible room .

A totally immersive room! You’re completely thrown back to 1983!!! The puzzles were a lot more complex and interactive with multiple layers to explore. There is one puzzle which will be difficult if you’re hard of hearing or tone deaf (like myself)
The puzzles were dynamic, lots of different types and it flowed within the theme /story of the room overall
Impressive design, the rooms feel completely immersive and the last room has unique feel that adds to the atmosphere/ experience
GM was good, she helped on the final puzzle when we were really stuck. Would have liked to get consistent time updates though so we could better gage our progress through the rooms

Inspired from a real event in the creators life, it was a great opportunity to bring mystery into what might have felt like an everyday environment (ex. A house /family home) the way the puzzles fit into the narrative helped to support the experience and make the game feel real

If you have experience with escape rooms and know how to look for puzzles / clues it will flow relatively well.

The set was amazing! I was transported back to my high school years in the teenage son's room! 😆 It's a linear room with very few locks which can actually be quite intimidating since you're not quite sure what you're looking for. Figuring out some of the clues are pretty time consuming. Specifically, you get the general idea but implementing the practice takes some time. Time suckers! But overall, great theme, set design and surprise ending!

The props were amazing. The story is somewhat different but similar to one of the rooms we used to play in. I’m impressed with one puzzle in the room; the rest is ok. Overall, it’s cool but overrated.

Huge room! Unique puzzles that were just the right amount of challenging. Didn’t need any hints and finished easily.
