I didnt think this room would live up to its reviews but it surpassed them! I really liked this room it was amazing the puzzles were really fun! I would put this definitely in my top 5 rooms so far. There were many fun twists that kept surprising us, so dont judge the room by only the name! I would definitely recommend to not miss this room!

Gameplay

This was one of my favorite rooms I have played from puzzles and the twists that happen the gameplay felt really good! Although the end isnt super straightforward, and is the most difficult part for us still liked the room a LOT!

Atmosphere

The atmosphere is good feels very retro and also unique.

Customer service

The GM was great, she did a good job explaining the room!

Difficulty

Medium

I didnt think it was too difficult except for the last part, we ended the room almost on the top 10 with about 25mins to spare!

Ideal number of players

3

I think 3-5 players would be a good number for this room. You could do 2 but it would give you a slight disadvantage, so only if your very experienced. I dont think you should do it with more than 5 though.

Minimum age

11

A good amount of the puzzles could be understood and done by a kid, of course the room isnt super easy, but I think a kid would like some of the puzzles the most!

Really fun room. Very 80s inspired with a cool twist at the end. The puzzles were fun and the story was awesome. Definitely one of my favorites.

This was a very fun nostalgic experience, the mechanics were very nice put together, however one puzzle that require higher amount of dexterity and effort that chipped away our time by a lot. However, the story was great and the puzzles were thoughtful. We did play in a very hot day, and one of the room became quite warm. Overall, 8.5/10

7/10 It's ominous but not spooky if that makes sense. On a hot day this would be terrible, 80's didn't have AC so don't expect it. Overall this game was linear, so you won't go wondering if you skipped a piece. So that's great about this room

Peak Nostalgia. If you like stranger things than you will love this. Puzzles were very creative. Some easy. Some a little more challenging. I can see why people love this room. The game play flowed. Set design was top notch

We really enjoyed this room, felt very immersed! We completed with just two people and felt adequately challenged without feeling stuck too much! Harper our GM made our experience even better! She was so kind and bubbly; definitely elevated the experience. We would love to come back and play more of these rooms, it’s a bummer we are OC based!

30 escape rooms

This is more of an experience than an escape room. The rooms are phenomenal, in terms of props and set. However I was quite let down by the lack of puzzles. There are very few per room and occur in a very linear fashion. Definitely don’t bring more than 4 people. Props and other set elements sometimes had to be used, but more often than not, they were just distractions. The ratio of distractions to puzzles was unfortunately high. Definitely worth going for the experience but was disappointed by the puzzles (some just tell you the answer outright)

Gameplay

Honestly was kind of let down by the gameplay here… it was very linear and there was also very little to do in each room. Some puzzles were fun, but others weren’t puzzles at all (like one just told you the code to put in). There were also many themed decorations with dials, switches, etc. some of which had to be used for puzzles, but while the rest were fun, they were just distracting

Atmosphere

Fantastic atmosphere, set, and props. Although at times the props really distracted from puzzles. More of an experience/adventure than an actual escape room

No

For the theme, yes, for the rest, definitely not

Story

Good story, but what we were exactly trying to do was blurred at times

Difficulty

Medium

Very few puzzles per room, and the puzzles are fairly easy, but if you do get a little stuck, the room is very linear so you will indeed be stuck
