Mostly janky with illogical solutions, only a surprise midgame occurece keeps this a thumbs-up from me.
GM told us via the screen to ignore a whole wall of panels that were broken. Well, it ends up we DID need to ans that wall (glad we tried anyway). The GM typed to us "oh yeah. oops lol" - kind of a funny moment... but not a smooth escape experience.
Overall, this escape room business needs some serious TLC.
A fun midgame surprise... but otherwise shoddy components make this difficult to love.
Staff here are very cool teenagers who are trying to make this place work. But the business is chaotic and mismanaged, and it feels like the staff are left to sink or swim (sometimes swim...sometimes sink). It was utter chaos in the lobby throughout the 4 games we played, hints were spotty (and ungrammatical), and sometimes staff would appear in the rooms themselves to explain something that wasn't clear on the screens.
Also photos not allowed in the games (womp).
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
It is actually somewhat unique given a midgame surprise.
Easy except for broken things and confusing GM instructions.
Broken panel doors, dials that fall off...
Funnily, yes... but i wish he had stayed in character. It would've improved the experience.
Physically active
