For a location that actually trains firefighters, this was such a unique escape room experience! It’s not often that firefighting facilities use their expertise to give the public a glimpse into what goes on behind the scenes. Before you begin, everyone gets assigned a different role, which was a fun way to get the group involved in the story from the start. You also watch a how-to video explaining what you should and should not do in the room and let me tell you, the video was hilarious! I was not expecting them to be as funny as they were and the intro injected personality and made the experience memorable for me. Once you get inside, the game takes place primarily in one room. Because of that, I think the sweet spot would be around 4-5 players. Any more than that and I could see the space getting a little cramped or having people run out of things to work on. The story itself is semi-linear, which I saw mentioned in other reviews and I agree with. There are opportunities for people to work on different things, but certain discoveries need to be made before the story can really move forward. There was also one VERY small detail that we somehow got by accident but other groups may need help with. Overall, I would recommend this room, especially if you’re interested in fire science, investigations, or just want to try an escape room that feels different from the usual themes. Come for the story, stay for the hilarious training video, and leave with a little more appreciation of what our first responders do behind the scenes.

For being a gen 1 room, this room was so much fun, the story line was built out so well, everyone has jobs that keeps you focused and busy aside from what is going on in the room, and there was so much to discover building the story even farther. The rules video at the beginning was ABSOLUTELY hilarious, hands down the best ever. Even after completing the room the story line keeps going and the after effects keep you right in the immersion. The passion the owners have is so evident, this is definitely a must do!!!

Great escape room and can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

Gameplay

Definitely different than your average escape room. Very enjoyable. It was more “solve the room”/figure out the story behind the fire. Semi-linear.

Customer service

Everyone was very welcoming and we even got to play a round of mini-golf after.

The room is very small so too many people will get it crowded quickly.
