A Twist Of Oz

While no elements of the room are 'scary', there are still multiple moments that could be considered jump-scares. The intro to the room simulates being in a tornado, which, though generally a very mild experience, could be distressing for some individuals.

A couple of hiccups were handled very well by our operator.

Color recognition and the ability to hear audio delivered over speakers were important to this room. The space is small, especially with a higher player count.

The gameplay in this room is very linear aside from finding a few items earlier than they can actually be used. The puzzle flow was effective but a bit too guided for my personal preference. That being said, I really liked the final puzzle in this room!

This room was very cute! While it was not 100% immersive, it was well decorated and encapsulated the spirit of multiple different iconic pieces of “The Wizard of Oz”.

Everyone at this location was so kind and it’s very clear that the owner is deeply passionate about his work!

While I haven’t done other rooms that are specifically “Wizard of Oz” themed, I have done other twister rooms that utilized similar effects as some parts of this story. The semi-guided puzzle flow of the room also reminded me of some rooms that I’ve done in the past.

The story was basically just the story for “The Wizard of Oz” which was effective but not anything super innovative.

This game was generally pretty straightforward but there were a couple of puzzles that were a bit more challenging.

I don’t remember any physical locks in this room. It was mostly keypads/technical effects.

The space is relatively small but could comfortable accommodate 4 people and that would be more than enough for the linear nature of the game.

The puzzles would obviously be difficult for children but the theming would be great for young escape room enthusiasts!

One element of the room was bypassed because of a technical difficulty.

No crawling, climbing, or running required.

As far as mobility restrictions go, this room is accessible for anyone who feels comfortable navigating tight spaces. Multiple puzzles utilize color and you must be able to hear clues given by audios during the game.

Two seasoned people or a group of more than two shouldn't have any problems escaping.

Amazing props and room decor

Staff was so accommodating! I accidentally booked a day early but they were amazing and squeezed us in!

The puzzles in this rooms were so much fun! We had a blast, we were smiling throughout the whole room, it flowed incredibly well, we weren’t stuck walking around not knowing what to do. Super concise.

I could go on and on about the set design and how insane it was. It was movie set level design. Absolutely beautiful.

Our gamemaster was super nice and awesome! She was there right where we needed a little nudge in the right direction.

I haven’t done a Wizard of Oz themed room before, so I thought it was incredibly interesting and different. It was amazing.

I loved the story! There was a clear direction of where to go and what to do. It felt like each thing we unlocked brought more into the story.

It wasn’t a hard room, but it wasn’t the easiest either. There are some searching puzzles in this room and my husband and I just suck at those so some parts felt a little more challenging.

I don’t think there was one lock in the room. All keypads and maglocks.

2 people could do this room but you should just bring more just for them to experience it with you.
