The Cotswold town of Moorbeck is as quiet and idyllic as one could imagine. The only stain on its record is a string of murders in 1950. The town sprang into action and with the help of a bright-eyed young detective, a man was charged and sentenced to the chair for the murders. The sad thing is, twelve years later the actual killer was caught in another town. Now, 40 years later as murder rears its head again, will the local police do better than their predecessors or are they doomed to commit the same sins?
