Twilight Circus

8/10 Preface: As of writing this review, Twilight Circus has been officially open for 2 days. In a month or two, with some troubleshooting and a few minor adjustments, this game will be spectacular. Review: 60Out Silverlake just released, what I believe to be, one of their best games at this location. This beautifully bizarre and fantastical experience is truly an absolute thrill to play. What seems to be the largest square footage of any of their games, 60Out packed this game with exceptional puzzles. The originality is exemplary. The Circus theme is fairly overplayed but they definitely subverted my expectations with a hilarious twist. Experienced enthusiasts may find this room to be on the easier side. As a group of two we escaped under 40 minutes. We would have escaped earlier but, with this being such a new game, one of the puzzles still needs adjusting for it to have better flow and connection. (It was the weakest puzzle of the experience and I hope they find an alternative to maximize this rooms potential.) Newer players will do great with 3 to 4 participants. Twilight Circus also comes with a “game modification box.” Which gives players the ability to modify their playing experience by raising/lowering volume, brightening lights, or making the game less spooky. Fantastic way to adapt to any customer’s playing preferences. 60Out Silverlake surpassed themselves with Twilight Circus. Highly recommend this game.
