Belly of the Beast [Chapter 1]

For a low budget escape room in LA, this is what everyone strives for. If you don’t have a big budget to back you, and you want to build a room, Enchanted shows what can be done. Though the building itself is below a law office, you walk in and it truly feels otherworldly. There are a lot of fun ideas for puzzles in this room and creative hides for 4 digit codes. Though most of the locks are analog, there are bits where the mechanisms keeping puzzles and rooms hidden did surprise us.

It was a fun experience and the game master kept our heads on straight for our party of two. A tad cheesy in some respects, the puzzles were varied and felt good when completed.

Cute privately owned game by kind owners. Guys, have realistic expectations when booking privately owned escape rooms. Could the room use a gentle update? Sure. Was it fun? Yes! At the end of the day that’s what we’re here for. You guys can be so critical. Support a small business and have some fun while doing it. We had fun, you will too!

While it’s lower budget than some of the other escape rooms in LA, the puzzles are clever and engaging. The story throughout all three rooms is great and the special effects are creative.

Loved this experience! Immersive design with unique puzzles that reflected the theme. Can’t wait to continue to the next chapter!

Love the owners! Super friendly and thoughtful. You can tell they took the time to really think about their puzzles and they pay attention to the details with the atmosphere ! Love supporting people that really care about the industry !

The first two chapters are small and enjoyable to read back-to-back. The puzzles are fun and we had a great time solving them.

Charming game. Lovely and enthusiastic owner. Not as complex as other games, but some unique and fun puzzles with a lot of heart.

Checked out the room at their new North Hollywood location and it was a fun room! The puzzles flowed well and there were some unique aspects. I’d definitely recommend it for a smaller group of enthusiasts (2-4 people max) as most of it is linear and portions are very tight to fit more than 4! Game masters are awesome and are definitely enthusiasts themselves which is always a plus!

Fun room, with good puzzles, game master recommended games be played back to back for the full experience. Medium level difficulty.
