The Great Candy Challenge

SUMMARY Very solid room, nothing particularly amazing though. Only a a few locks throughout the experience, most puzzles were powered by tech. We were able to escape with a group of 4 adults pretty quickly with no hints received. I would recommend the room for beginners or groups with kids DIFFICULTY Puzzle difficulty ranged from simple to just below moderate. Nothing in the room was too obfuscated and none of the puzzles were frustrating or abstract. THEME A well executed light hearted candy factory theme. Good use of general lighting and clever sound bites throughout. Ambient music in one of the corners of the room was pretty loud and hampered communication slightly. PEOPLE Any more than 4 adults would feel pretty cramped and would prevent everyone from participating at the same time. This would be a great room for groups with kids STAFF As always at this location, the staff were great. They were kind, accommodating, and good communicators

Cute theme, pretty standard escape room puzzles but we still enjoyed it. Great for beginners and families.

I rate this room a 3.5/5 (ck out my bio for rating system). This room was totes adorb with it's sweet set (literally satisfied my sweet tooth) and cheeky jokes. The set/theme earned 1.5 points. It was immersive and well designed. The puzzles were fun but average. Nothing we hadn't really seen before. We did ask for a few hints and the GM responded with good nudges. I'd give this category a point. I enjoyed this room enough (1pt). It was fun, not necessarily memorable outside of the 'syrupy' jokes and great candy. 😋

Cool room. Nothing over the top or incredibly unique but still had a good time. Only had one puzzle that was complicated, the rest was pretty straight forward.

Cute, candy-themed romp through a forest and candy factory. Tech-based puzzles seamlessly integrated with the adorable set and parallel solving ensured we were engaged throughout. Edible candy was a welcome bonus, and our GM was fantastic.

Lots of fun. We did think the background music was a little too loud and so we couldn’t hear the hints, and the room was exceptionally dark for a lighthearted candy-based game, but aside from that, we really enjoyed ourselves.

Very cute room with a sweet theme. Don't overthink the puzzles - they are clever, but not difficult. The team loved the candy that was in the room to eat! We were eating candy and solving puzzles - it was a really fun time, and another fun room from Escape Games at the River!

Short but very very sweet! (Pun intended) This had a lot of cute little surprises, as well as a fun story and an awesome set. Kids would love this!

A fun, silly game in a candy factory. Definitely family friendly and was a lot of fun

This was a very cute but rather easy room. Luckily we had brought a newbie friend who was worried about being stressed - not a problem here as this was just plain fun.
