Clearly an older room, less tech and mostly traditional combo locks for progression, but there were several unique and technological puzzles that were new to us. The difficulty was good for a group of 2. Progression was logically and required no leaps of logic or brute forcing of anything so that was good. Story was a bit on the lighter side but still cute

As this was our 2nd time at Troubled Puzzles Grayslake, we kind of knew what to expect. Test Flight One was a decent Gen1 room overall. Nothing too memorable, the production value is not spectacular, and there are a lot of locks, but we still had fun throughout. Although there were a lot of locks, we always knew what code needed to go where as there was a good flow to the room. Having authentic airline seats was a cool prop in the room. Having multiple rooms to explore always makes things more exciting as well. Our GM (Remi) was very friendly and gave us a few nudges along the way to keep us moving forward. Overall, we had a fun night.

I think this would be a great experience for a beginner.
I really enjoyed it, my wife said it was meh. Flow of puzzles made sense. A couple of sticking points.
Quality of set design wasn’t high, but all of it was thematic. Use of actual airplane seats was cool along with luggage, a beverage cart, and a lavatory!
