Living in Los Angeles can be considered an entitlement and an honor. To those captivated with “star-struck” eyes striving for equivalency with Hollywood’s elite, the city of angels offers a variety of opportunities to reach for the stars and flourish. As time took it’s toll, the city began to alter her character. The rising gas prices, expensive housing, traffic, blinding smog, overpopulation, and rising crime rates made Los Angeles uninhabitable for those not hypnotized by her beauty. During the 1920s, Harry Williams, head assistant to renowned Los Angeles architect Raymond Kennedy, sensed this misfortune for the future of Angelenos. In assisting with his counterpart’s final project in 1926, Williams strategically manipulated iconic Los Angeles landmarks to hide clues solely intended for those clever enough to expose them and break away from the city’s grasp. In 2020, nearly a hundred years after Williams’ secrets were situated amongst the city, an expedition awaits those who can uncover the hidden secrets and paths established by Williams. This team of clever minds have been hand selected for this adventurous journey to unriddle the layers of mystery, reveal the unknown, and Escape L.A.

Very well made and designed room. Set/ atmosphere was fantastic and flowed really well. Gm was amazing and very nice. It was on the easier side. Overall a very good room with great puzzles and atmosphere for newer players.
Puzzles were all really fun and no locks or keys
Great. Everything looked amazing and it all flowed great.

Set was fantastic, and while the game itself wasn’t too hard it was very fun.
Good story, although the introduction video was a little bit long.

This was a well-constructed room that is basically a love letter to the city of Los Angeles. It’s got some very nice sets and some complex multi-stage puzzles. A couple of object placements are difficult to see / trigger correctly but overall the room flows smoothly. Recommended.

One puzzle was impossible to solve (we had the solution, but the technology wouldn’t accept it). They had to restart the room and then fast-forward us to the same puzzle, which worked the second time. Not a big deal, and it was entertaining to watch the owner speed-run all the steps we had already taken to get the software to the correct spot in the game script. It is unfortunate but it does happen.

The only reason I'm not giving this a thumbs down is the clever tech. The game play was just okay and the ending was THE MOST anticlimactic I've ever experienced. Ever. We were all standing there waiting for the next clue and then they were like You did it! So sad.

That was a fantastic escape room experience! The room is designed to be family-friendly and that the concept and puzzles are enjoyable, great escape room for also first timers. The use of high technology instead of traditional lockers with keys adds an extra level of excitement and immersion. Overall, it sounds like a top-notch escape room that offers a fun and high-quality adventure for everyone.

This is a fun Hollywood themed room, would be really good for kids over 10 with adults. For enthusiasts, it needs to be a little more challenging. A lot of puzzles similar to ones I’ve seen in rooms before.
