We had so much fun with the interaction with this one.

Good intro room. Nothing too groundbreaking and nothing too difficult.
Nothing too groundbreaking here but there was 1 puzzle that required splitting up that was a new idea to me.

There was a missing picture on the wall that looked like it could have been a clue but the GM was quick to let us know that it was not important and just fell off earlier in the day.

It was a minor part but a fun idea.

I really enjoyed this room. Even though the hiding aspect was kind of silly, it led to a lot of fun within my group. There were a few unique puzzles, and I think my group found the overall experience to be very entertaining.

Dark room with a unique immersive element that I won’t say what it is completely, but it involves a live interaction. It almost feels like a cutscene in a video game since things may change… which is neat. Other than that, ok bank puzzles, though some unclear especially in near pitch blackness. However, one of the final puzzles is honestly, near impossible and brought down the morale completely. It requires cooperative dexterity in the dark and can only be done by 2 people when everything else in the room is done. The lock is flimsy too… It felt unfair and roadblocky especially when the rest of the room felt doable. If nobody can do this puzzle, you’re busted. Room was ok, though even with that chokehold, there was a bad combo of darkness, lockout safes, and possible fail states.

Our very first escape room and it’s the immersive room that began the obsession. It will always hold a special place on our hearts and we compare every immersive room to this one. It’s definitely top-notch and so, so clever.

A very traditional bank heist escape room. There’s a few unique puzzles in this room, but for the most part, it plays like a traditional Gen 1 escape room. A good traditional gen 1 escape room. There’s lots of puzzles and lots to do, but it flows really well once you get started. If you’re well-versed in puzzles, this one may be easy for you… but for most it’s the most difficult room at Fox in a Box

This is the 2nd game played there. There is a part where you have to “hide” for a moment which has my fiancé and I cracking up. I’m just not a fan of the game masters. Both rooms were a different person and both times I feel like they weren’t amused or enthusiastic.
