It’s Prohibition, and gangster Enoch “Knucky” Johnson has been using the Laurel Hotel as a safe house for his supply of booze. As a hotel employee, you’ve just been informed that Al Capone has poisoned one of Knucky’s bootleg bottles of booze. Knucky is on his way. When the notorious gangster arrives, it would not be wise to give him poisoned hooch, or to give him nothing. You have just one hour to find the tainted bottle!

Very enjoyable! Simple mechanical room with mostly linear puzzles but lots of locks to open!

Fun room! Plenty to stay busy for two people. Not a lot of technology but still still a great room! All of the puzzles made sense.
Very cool, old building near the harbor.

Despite questionable reviews, Charm City Clue Room delivered a very positive experience for our group! The Gangsters Gamble room was a traditional throwback - quite mechanical and hands-on approach and design. The theme was fun and puzzles were plenty. Our group found much success at many parts, but also appreciated hints at others. We only escaped with seconds remaining! We’d love to return again.

The room was very fun, traditional, and hands-on. There was no technology, no surprises, and at times it appeared out dated. This didn’t stifle gameplay; however it also didn’t bolster gameplay.
The plot wasn’t memorable. It was coherent and consistent but it did feel at times rudimentary and random.
Medium
Puzzles were fun and challenging. Plenty of locks and tasks needing to be completed in time.
Mechanical
Very traditional and old school feel to this room.

We had a group of 5 players - it was the right amount of bodies to solve and work together.

Extremely linear and mostly combination locks. Room was sparsely decorated and had minimal ambiance to the theme of the room. We were told this one was the hardest but it wasn’t too bad just that it had so many combination locks. A little boring.

Six of us attending a conference played this room. Some of the puzzles required out of the box thinking. Fun room!
Helpful staff and all props in room were in good condition
