Wanna be a kid again? This is for you! I got so lost in the fun I forgot I was in an escape room!

The cameras were broken so a GM stayed in the room with us, which we didn’t mind at all. But then the GM had to call to manually trigger multiple mechanisms that didn’t work. On top of that, props that were supposed to be locked up weren’t and props that weren’t were, causing the game to feel disjointed. Even though the GM was in the room with us and could’ve quickly caught on when something was not set up right, he wasn’t very attentive and we had to flag him down multiple times to check if we were doing something wrong or if something was broken again. We left the game feeling very frustrated. The puzzles themselves could’ve been fun and the room could’ve been immersive if not for all the technical difficulties we experienced.
Puzzles were fun and innovative, but execution was poor
Front door staff were very friendly, but the GM was a bit inattentive
Not scary

The motto of this game really seems to be “fun first.” All of the elements are really tactile and interactive, there’s so much to do! Harder for a smaller group due to the amount of puzzles, but for an experienced team it’s a breeze. I hear some locations even have a slightly altered version for small groups that speeds up things like jigsaw puzzles to save time. The playground theme seems to scare off some groups, but this is a for-real escape game! It’s not the easiest I’ve ever played, but it definitely sets the record for the amount of times we all cheered with excitement!
SO FUN! This game feels like it was designed with fun first, and difficulty second. I really appreciated that in this case! I haven’t played other games that feel anything like this one!
