This one was fun! As most prison ones we were locked up and it was fun to like hand things over and get our teammates to solve their puzzles and such!
Gameplay was quick once everyone got out but it was pretty fun to play!

I really wanted to like Prison Break as a lot of effort had been put in by the staff to fix up itβs general flow and gameplay but unfortunately it still missed the mark. The general upkeep of the room has fallen by the wayside with scuff marks, loose wall socket coverings, janky tech and faded puzzle inscriptions bringing down an experience which has a lot of potential. Puzzles werenβt spectacular but made sense and required a decent amount of team work, utilising the βseparated in cellsβ dynamic well. One element of the game unfortunately didnβt work as intended (which can happen, all good) but it was the lack of care/enthusiasm/urgency from the staff to fix it once we let them know that really irked me. Standing around waiting for 4-5 minutes as our time ticked down before having to call on a different game master for assistance isnβt acceptable. Overall a very strange and disappointing run.

I feel like this room has the potential to be great but unfortunately stumbles at many hurdles. The set design was okay, the separation to begin with was a fun idea and fit the theme well. Unfortunately the room itself was riddled with flaws that made it difficult to remain immersed such as plastic peeling off walls, lights not working, and puzzle errors. We were not greeted post room which was disappointing but appeared to be commonplace as the room after us was also not. The workers giving clues in the lobby was also not my favourite as we were hearing room spoilers while waiting to go in, feels like they should have a designated space and spend more time focusing on where their players are up to.

We had a puzzle not work with a piece falling down and leading to some issues, apparently itβs never happened before but still made for a disappointing end. There were things that didnβt turn on and led to confusion within the room that felt unnecessary. A couple of damaged panels and laminated items could be fixed to improve the overall immersion.
