Personally I think this one is the weakest of the escape rooms at this place. It is REALLY hard and a lot of the puzzles still don't make sense to me. Overall still a good room but definitely not my favourite. They give you a piece of paper with stats of your playthrough and how you stacked up to others and when you solved specific puzzles.

What. A. Room. From the great flow of puzzles to the impressive vault door itself, the ‘Bank Heist’ was easily my favourite heist game. The bonus challenges were tricky, but very, very cool! We had the chance to see the breakdown of our experience graphed out against the average group entering into Bank Heist. It was a unique and fascinating opportunity to dig down into the data of the game. Mark, Social Escape Rooms’s creator, took the time to run through other puzzles and was so, so kind. It was great to talk escape rooms with such a passionate designer. I’m looking forward to returning to Social Escape next time I’m in Sydney to play more rooms!

We really enjoyed this game! A stand out was being provided with a statistical breakdown of our progress in the room and a magnet for escaping. I personally wasn’t a huge fan of the additional tasks that you could complete if you had extra time available as I felt it took away from the storyline of the room. The productive value of this room was fantastic!

Lordy. A challenge from start to finish and beyond, there is so much to work through it is almost unfathomable. An interesting stream of puzzles that relate to the story and finale and then a bonus challenge to solve all of the “optional” puzzles which was nearing on another room in itself. Strictly focusing on the traditional part of the room it was challenging with a variety of puzzles to keep you always occupied and engaged.

Such a creative room! A reasonably small space absolutely bursting with clever puzzles and fun solves, it kept my friends and I entertained for the whole 60 minutes (and then some). Some pretty tricky puzzles that favour the more experienced player but a very rewarding experience overall. The addition of optional puzzles pose a crazy challenge but the monetary incentive to finish them all kept us going. Mark the owner was wonderful!

Bank Heist was a blast! The setup of the room is really interesting: there’s a core task (steal the diamond and escape) but if you’ve done that and got some spare time, there’s an optional extra task. Solve that as well, and you score some real life cash! We got the gem relatively quickly but ran out of time to get the cash as well. Apparently only 7 teams have ever done it but we gave it a good crack. I loved that after we were done, our game master presented us with a stats sheet showing us when we cracked all the puzzles throughout the hour and how our times compared to the average across all of their escape sessions in that room.

One of the best escape rooms I’ve done due to the optional. Without those, it’s pretty average. With those, it’s a top 5
