The Pharaoh's Tomb

Super hard room, mostly because of the plagues of darkness and long crawling segments. The flashlights are purposefully dim because. I liked the puzzles, but didn’t appreciate the searching and reading in the dark. Also, we’re apparently too short to do a puzzle… GM Joey kindly helped us get through it, and he basically had to walk us through the final difficult puzzle. You’ll want at least 3 people, not just because it’s required for a puzzle (though GM helped our group of 2), but because you’ll need that many hands and minds to escape. This is also one of those rooms where you’ll need to take chances, make mistakes, and GET MESSY! Seriously, you’ll get messy. I would have enjoyed this escape room more IF I HAD MY CUP OF COFFEE!

Well designed room. It is billed as their most difficult and I would agree. I’m not a big fan of Egyptian styled rooms, but it was done well. Make sure to pay attention to detail in this room. Read everything closely!

I'm typically not a huge fan of tomb/ruins themes, but this room was definitely immersive and challenging! Our gm Joey was a champ, and we wouldn't have escaped without his hands-on guidance. Haven't lost yet!!!!🤞

Our family of four loved The Perfect Escape so much (Wong’s Kitchen) that we came back for another room! Pharoah’s Tomb did not disappoint. Good challenging puzzles, great atmosphere, and fantastic service by our game master. Highly recommend!

Really good game! There's a LOT to do in here. It's doable for 2 enthusiasts, but otherwise would definitely recommend having 3-6 people. There are a couple of things that weren't quite intuitive, but ultimately able to figure out.

It felt like a classic escape room, while still having a good level of tech in the room!

This was a great room with an absolutely great immersion factor and satisfying puzzles. A lot of tomb ones can be pretty hit or miss, but this one really is one of the best of this genre.

Good production value, fun puzzles, and an overall great room. However, I played it about five years ago (2018) so I can’t speak to recent issues in other reviews (extremely bad dust, worn out room, etc)

Had sore throat for 48 hours after breathing the dust from this room.

Do not play this game if you have any sort of respiratory sensitivities. Do not wear clothes you care about when you play this room. Do not play this room if you can’t crawl for distances on uncomfortable ground. The GM walked in at one point to reset a puzzle and told us to just pretend he wasn’t there. No explanation, time still running. For all of our difficulties and concerns, the GM just said that it’s “not his favorite room.” A real shame since we enjoyed the first room we did here, then any good/happy vibes were completely wiped away. The room was so dirty, there were even some player-contributed hieroglyphics of a phallic nature in the thick layer of dust. Not great.
