You and your mates must break in to reclaim what be rightfully yours and send that scurvy dog to Davey Jones' Locker. If you're crafty enough, perhaps you'll even commandeer the whole galleon. All hands on deck!

This is a very solid escape room for its difficulty level. The two of us didn’t finish in enough time for the bonus, sadly.

We won the room but timed out on the 4 bonus boxes! Next time we will do better super cool concept though they start you off with a clue when you win the room and run from there!

Congrats on getting to the bonus boxes! They get incredibly harder the further you get so even getting a few open is a big deal. We added these for the enthusiasts who rock the regular game and are looking to add an extra challenge. We look forward to hosting you again soon for another adventure :)

Wow. This room blew us away from its immersion. The puzzles were very well crafted and several were quite innovative. There were a few very well timed special effects that really added to the wow factor. The company says it’s a 6/10 for difficulty but it felt right on par with some of their other 8/10 difficulty rooms. That being said, we were able to smoothly escape with just a team of two. As an added bonus, there are a few “bonus” puzzles to complete if time allows at the end. These puzzles were certainly afterthoughts (and incredibly difficult), but rightfully so. They added a fun last challenge that topped off a wonderful experience.

This room was pretty fun and had great atmosphere. There was one puzzle that didn’t totally make sense, I figured it out by ignoring parts of it but when I asked the GM he also said he had no idea it didn’t make sense either. So that was a bit weird. We were also bummed we were not able to play the bonus puzzles because we needed to finish the room 2 min earlier (20 min before the hour finished), but that is our own fault!

Don't tell anyone, but he could have totally let you try the bonuses too :P We hope you will join us again soon and give him a chance at redemption lol

Despite a pretty standard pirate escape room theme, this room still managed to shine though with superior theming and unique puzzles. Also greatly enjoyed the addition of the bonus puzzles--we finished the room itself in 38 minutes, but the puzzles gave us an added 22 minutes of fun and challenge, we completed those with literally 13 seconds left! We would still choose some of the other Herndon rooms over this one, but it is a top notch option.
Gameplay
Plenty to do and somewhat non linear, so kept everyone busy. Also a few unique spins on the pirate theme puzzles that we had not seen before.

Well themed as all of Herndon games are; especially appreciated that they made the effort to include animated views for the portholes.

Top notch treatment as always even when they were clearly busy on a holiday weekend night.

We are happy you enjoyed Maritiem Mutiny. It is meant to be an easier game that friends can use to introduce others to the concept of Escape Rooms. We do have the ultra-hard bonus puzzles in Mutiny just for those hardcore players looking for an extra challenge.
