I really loved this room. The design and story were so unique. There were a few puzzles I felt didn’t flow but overall the game flow was nice. We were led astray by our GM for 5 minutes before they realized they had given us the wrong hint for where we were in the game. That was frustrating but overall I really enjoyed how unique this room was.

There were a few puzzles/locks that we got stuck on and I didn’t think flowed with the game well but everything else I loved.
Atmosphere
So much work has gone into making this game and all of the props/design. I truly loved the design of the room. If you don’t know anything about the 80s you might not appreciate it as much.
Customer service
The games were running behind this day but we didn’t mind. Our GM switched in the middle of the game and did lose track of where we were. We asked for a hint and they gave us a hint for the next puzzle so we were very confused for about 5 minutes before they realized we hadn’t unlocked the box before. This did cost us a lot of time and we became frustrated.

Absolutely spoiled for my first ever escape room. Just such cool, unique touches like the count down clock looking like an old DOS computer... Really does bring me back to my mid 90's childhood.

I can’t quite give a thumbs down bc I have played much worse but I didn’t think the game flowed well and felt stuck more than usual. Some of the puzzle solves seemed like real leaps to me.

This one I just didn’t get. It gets rave reviews and so much hype with Terpeca awards every year…so I must be the odd ball here. But it was a bunch of locks, a few neat electronic elements…but I thought many of the puzzles were somewhat weak and their concepts repetitive. It certainly doesn’t deserve a thumbs down, but for a game with so many awards, I was expecting something much better. Out of the 130+ rooms I’ve played, I rank this one somewhere in the middle.

Some connect emotionally with some while at the same time missing the mark with others (sometimes in the same group). Lots of fun! Very immersive and nostalgic. Only minor finicky solutions but overall worked smoothly. Fun surprises!! Harder with many people as many puzzles have to be solved one at a time so leaves little for others to do.

This room was amazing. The theming was 100% on point, which is what really made the experience. The puzzles weren’t difficult, but were still challenging enough to be exciting.

I’ve almost done all the Raven Chase adventure escape rooms both at this location and Herndon, and this room lives up to the standards I have for them. This room is pretty small, so if you’re going with people that love escape rooms, I suggest four people being the absolute max. The puzzles in this room were pretty on par with other escape rooms by this company. There is a few really clever puzzles, and almost all of them fit in with the theme of the room. Lots of cool little Easter eggs in the room. The atmosphere is what really gave this room a heart rather than a thumbs up. While it may be small, I was surprised how much they were able to Jam Pack into this room, and really make it feel like an 80s or 90s arcade you see at a bowling alley, right down to the classic carpet. My only gripe is that they had some awesome classic rock playing, but it was so quiet you couldn’t hear it most of the time.
