Παρεκκλήσι & Κατακόμβες [Chapel & Catacombs]

This is not an escape room, it's a life experience. I can't describe how far ahead this room is from the competition.

I don't even know where to start reviewing this room. The problem is that it is not a room, it's an entire village! After me and my boyfriend escaped we tried to count how many different rooms we had been in... It was an impossible task! I don't think there was a moment of it I didn't like, despite me screaming "I don't like it" for 2.5 hours any time a monster came close to me 😂 I left the room dripping with sweat and wanting more, if that doesn't indicate it was a good time, I don't know what would! If you can't tell, this is my favourite escape room to date... I don't know if anything could top it!!!

This is hands down the best and most immersive escape room we have done. We traveled from the united states on our honeymoon and it exceeded our expectations. Would LOVE to do the other rooms if we had more time here.

This room is absolutely incredible. The realism was sensational and the immersion made us feel like we were living the story. Unlike in normal escape rooms in which you solve puzzles and move on, the clever integration of the puzzles within this room enhanced the realism of gameplay. It made it feel like we were on a real life adventure with spontaneous, unpredictable tasks to complete and events to confront. The implementation of live actors in this room is done extraordinarily well. Not only were they there to provide theatrics and jump scares, they are part of the game. It was a high stakes game of us against them, complete your mission or be killed. Because of its adventure style, the gameplay is dynamic and the actors responded differently depending on players’ actions. This made the game even more realistic. Be prepared to sweat and have an amazing and adrenaline pumping experience.

Highly recommend, incredible room. Very immersive, great theatrics, beautiful set design, and good puzzles throughout that are embedded well into the storyline.

What an experience to kick off our trip to Athens. Incredible talent and such an expansive space. Our time was filled with moments of surprise, fear and challenge. A great well rounded experience!! Super talented team of performers that delivered their roles very well and gave additional moments with our team that we will cherish! The highlights of the experience!!! I only wish we could have debriefed with all of our hosts at the end. They were all so incredible and deserved a round of applause!👏

Absolutely incredible experience! The story line for this room is fun, and then exhilarating. The game was disorienting, which added to the environment. The characters in the game did an amazing job at helping move the game forward. The puzzles in this room were great! Very straight forward and we didn’t require any help aside from the first puzzle. Definitely play if you’re in Athens!

We definitely understood the hype and it's no wonder this "room" is ranked among the top in Terpeca. The setting is incredible, the place is huge. If you are a horror loving escape room enthusiastic you will absolutely love this. But if the scary escape rooms is not your cup of tea, this could be too much. Of course, the GM try to adjust the scare factor according to the players reactions and wishes but this room is definitely not for everyone. After halfway our team had to request removing all the actors because we got too scared to proceed and couldn't think properly. So we really wanted to love this room but it was just not for us. We do recommend this room to anyone who likes scary escape rooms.

We played this game in what I understand is ‘daylight’ mode - (mostly) no live actors. The majority of our group thought it may have taken away from the experience somewhat and, with hindsight, perhaps we should have persevered with the full experience. I myself am a nervous gamer with these kinds of things (I had anxieties all day leading up to it) and the ‘daylight’ mode was fine; but perhaps I should have pushed through for the full effect of the game. The ending was anti-climatic and we are not sure whether that was because it was ‘daylight’ mode or just the game itself. We considered that, even with the live actors, we are not sure if it would have been ‘wow wow wow’ like the reviews we have seen. Overall though, still a massive space and such a great idea!

This is truly an experience. Best escape room I have been to by far, and you must visit this place if you have a chance. This is very scary - but even if you are a scary cat like me - they can definitely adjust for you (it’s part of the plot)
