What a fantastically wonderful and daffy experience from start to finish. So many games have generic themes, Operation Gryaznayavoda has such an original story brought to life so effectively. Great puzzles, love how it highlights Portland (a big plus for a visitor to the city, like me) - amazing set. YOU MUST PLAY THIS GAME!

This has to be one of the most clever and well carried out escape room experiences I've ever had. Everything from finding the place to starting the game was awesome and utterly unique. Easily one of my all time favorites! While our team of 6 (3 experienced and 3 newbies) didn't solve the room in time, the GM still allowed us to finish the room so we could experience the story and everything. The puzzles themselves are well designed and laid out across multiple rooms in a fairly non-linear fashion but are obvious enough to make you connect the dots. Some of the puzzles are fairly thought intensive so I wouldn't recommend it for those who don't like to think or have a language barrier, but the GM is really awesome at giving you hints when they see you're struggling with something or possibly misinterpreting a clue. Definitely recommend anyone visiting Portland to give this escape room a shot and do so with a group of at least 4 experienced players who communicate well as there are several points where working together is involved.

Probably the best overall locations I've ever been to. We did both rooms back to back, see other review for more details. Operation Gryaznayavoda came second. It flowed very well from the first room and the transition in between. The GM did a great job of staying in "character" in between as well. There were only 2 of us and the website said you needed 4. It was challenging for us to finish but we pulled it off. Some of these puzzles were so unique it was hard to describe to our family afterwards without them physically seeing with their own eyes and doing it. Very fun, very engaging!

Excellent room. Probably our favorite out of 30-35 played!

Operation Gry-whatever is a hidden gem in Portland! The venue was so well themed and had a wonderful storefront, and then game itself was clever and well-designed for a fairly small place. The puzzles were fantastic from beginning to end and there is one specific puzzle that was so good it stunned me for more than a few seconds. The final puzzle was appropriately dramatic and felt both dieagetic and escape roomy in a great way. Absolutely a worthy stop and a great example of how a small space doesnβt mean small fun.

Incredibly immersive game and a wonder GM! Highly highly recommend, all the puzzles felt very unique and all 5 of us were busy most of the whole time elapsed

A definite must-do! An amazing escape room. Getting into the room is an escape room of its own which was a solid touch. Our host clearly loves his job because he nailed his role. The puzzles in the room involved a mix of mechanics and technology. What I really like about this room is that there weren't a ton of padlocks...the puzzles were creative and original and everything worked well. Where padlocks did come into play, it made sense (not just a random box on a wall to have to break into). There are a few times where you watch and listen to directions, but the time stopped so we weren't penalized for something we couldn't control. I would absolutely recommend this room for 4-5 people. Over 6 people and you'll probably have too much confusion.

Iβve done 50+ rooms and this was a top 5 for me. So fun and inventive. GM hyper-engaging and the puzzles were extremely varied.

Amazing escape room and company. One of my favorites in Portland. The rooms are extravagant and uses pretty cool technology. The owner is awesome, too. Funny guy.
