Listen to ‘em out there, singing together like butter wouldn’t melt. Every damn one of them would murder his own mother to climb a couple rungs up the ladder. But not you though, right? You are as pure as the cold driven snow. Me too, buddy. Me too. THE LADDER is like no other escape room in the world—a fully replayable immersive experience in which your choices and performance determine the outcome. Get ready to embark on a 50-year career at Nutricorp, an Omaha-based vitamin company with more than a few dark secrets to hide. Each room of The Ladder represents a decade—from the rockin’ 1950s to the less rockin’ 1990s—and features both scored games and puzzles. Your score will allow you to make certain choices (Wanna raise a family? Wanna hire a secretary?) while solving the super-tough and fully optional puzzles will grant you access to new parts of the story—and an entire bonus room. Featuring a 90-minute runtime, 5 playable avatars, 8 different sets, and nearly a dozen different endings, The Ladder has been designed to blow your mind not once, not twice, but as many times as you care to visit. Will you play as a hero or a villain? Will you make your first billion or wind up penniless? And did you ever figure out what was in that mysterious pneumatic capsule? Well, you know what they say: if at first you don’t succeed…you’re probably a talentless hack. Or maybe you should try again…

Unique experience! The concept is great! It's soooooo many puzzled and it has so many endings. You can do it again and again. The only problem is that is a brand new room and they have a lot of technical issues. They were very respectful to the problem and they managed the situation very well. I am looking forward to doing it again with a bigger group!

I hope to review this again in the future when I go back to play. Lab Rat is one of my all time favorite games and I also love The Nest and Mother of Frankenstein, so I was really hyped for this opening. I was a Kickstarter for the game, but I wish I had waited a bit before played because I really don't think it was ready to roll today. I was surprised that creators of this quality would release something that isn't fully refined. Having said that, the imagination and theme are something truly special. Our small team didn't complete a single puzzle, though we did sail past the million dollar goal. As to the puzzles, I felt rather lost in a way that I'm not used to feeling and am of the opinion that the puzzles lacked an intuitiveness that one would expect from a top tier game. We also had several puzzles break during our play which was a frustrating experience. In the final room, 2 full games were marked as "out of order." I am sure they will fine tune things to make this the epic experience it definitely can be. I look forward to another try at this game in the future, though the $95 price tag makes me want to ensure that everything is finalized before I head back.

So fun, so unique. Not your normal escape Room experience, usually we only like to play with 2 to 3 players… But this is great for a large group. And replayable!!? Sign me up. I’ll be back.

Look, we were nervous after the reviews, but if you go in knowing you won’t solve every puzzle and that it’s a non-traditional escape room, you MIGHT JUST LOVE IT. We had a team of 4 and we had a blast. I’d suggest 5-6 if you really want to go for it. The spaces are smaller than you’d like for 8 people, but it’s doable. We got a lot done with 4, but you might get added value out of 5-6 player team. I’m not sure you’ll ever feel completely satisfied playing this game if you’re looking to “win” but you will enjoy yourself and happy new year (iykyk)! 🪜🥳

Did LabRat and it was one of the best experience I’ve ever had, this unfortunately is the exact opposite. I wish I’d be able to love it… Don’t do this room if you expect anything similar to LabRat.

Go in with an open mind on this one. If you’re expecting a traditional “I did everything and escaped” then you are in for a surprise. There are 2 ways to play this experience, one is fun mini-game style activities to earn points for one type of ending and the other is the puzzle based mystery. The issue is you only get 15 minutes per room so doing the puzzle track is that much harder and does require at least 4 people to really accomplish as the puzzles are not easy. If you focus on the puzzle track and fail to solve it without focusing on the points at all it becomes a real bummer but don’t be discouraged. The story line and options at after each room make it very unique. Go in with an open mind and that you are going to experience something rather than escape room and you’ll enjoy it

Glad we got to enjoy this experience with our friends from Switzerland. The Moist Ninjas and the World Escape crew teamed up once again to tackle this very tech heavy escape room. Yet it’s not really an escape room at all it does feature puzzles and games.

This is NOT a typical escape room. You will spend a full 75 minutes inside. Teams get 15 mins in 5 different rooms. The game is quite revolutionary, it offers numerous paths and many possible outcomes based on both the decisions you make during the game and how well you complete games.
