This was my 2nd room at the bureau and I was hoping for some sort of redemption as the 1st room did not go well due to technical issues. Escaped but left disappointed. We wanted to do a 2nd room that day and had decided to go elsewhere as the experience wasn't great

This room had a couple of really fun puzzles I hadn't seen before. Unfortunately, just as many puzzles were frustrating and non-intuitive. The sets and interactive materials were all great.

Decent game. Some extended pauses of no activity but still entertaining.

This is a prime example of how to make an escape room without the use of locks and keys.

It was ok, but it was way too easy. Like, we got out so quickly I was a little salty we spent the money on it. I’m not trying to say we’re smart either, I just think the room is for children, and that would be absolutely fine, if they had a rating system at the bureau. They won’t give you difficulties if you ask. I like the bureau, and I really dig the creativity of the place as a whole. The alien game, and the puppet game are pretty much amazing. This one- not so much.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a mission debriefing Operative! We appreciate your assistance with stopping Dr Braingood Jr! We apologize that your experience didn't meet your expectations. While many groups find Dr Braingood very challenging, we have had some groups complete it very quickly and find it easy. All of our missions have their own unique challenges and have been proven to have different “difficulty levels” depending on multiple factors. All of our missions can adjust based on team size and skill levels. They are also heavily task oriented and require Operatives to think outside the box to complete them. You are not going to be overanalyzing or searching for puzzles or keys, but rather completing a mission assigned to you. Some Operatives, regardless of experience, find certain missions difficult while others find them very easy. I have listed our missions below based on recent completion times and rates and a bit of personal opinion, starting with what I would say is the easiest to the hardest. UFO: Go for Launch - our heaviest technology mission and a fan favorite. You’ll have to learn how to use this technology to your advantage and get a UFO back into space. Puppet Heist: The Hand of Life - this mission is another fan favorite, but does require you to learn how to use the skills of a Puppet sidekick to break into a warehouse and steal an ancient relic. He’s fairly shy, but is a crucial element to the success of your team. If you can’t work well with him, this may be challenging. Robot Rebellion – our newest mission is very different from our other missions. Similar to a video game, you will progress through various levels trying to save as many Robots as possible using a combination of physical tasks, screen based games of skill, and more traditional challenges. The goal isn’t to complete the mission as fast as possible, but rather complete as many challenges during the time limit. Dr Braingood - requires Operatives to follow step by step instructions to gain the trust of an Evil (not so) Genius and tends to be a simple challenge for larger groups. Once you’ve infiltrated his lair, you then must work as a team on multiple challenges to stop him for good! Possession at Haddon Heights - this mission is not for those who are easily scared and is not recommended for Operatives under the age of 13. Operatives must not be afraid of the dark, loud noises, or auditory stimulation. You must summon an entity and confront it, if you’re brave enough. While this mission isn’t too difficult, the darkness and fear tend to slow down most groups making this a more challenging mission. It also tends to be our most popular mission, especially in the fall! The Lab at Loch Ness - due to the time sensitive nature of saving the Loch Ness species, this mission requires Operatives to be separated at the start. Teams must rely on their communication skills. This has been especially challenging for smaller teams, or teams not experienced with the Bureau. It tends to be much simpler for larger teams or teams that excel in verbal communication skills. Keep in mind, our Engineers are always on standby to assist you throughout your mission. They will help guide you as much (or as little) as you’d like.

This rooms fundamental issue is that it’s hard to hear the videos (and there’s a lot of them). There are no real puzzles and the simple logic ones don’t make sense half the time. Very disappointing after we did UFO and enjoyed it.

The Bureau has so far been my group's favorite place for escape rooms. The combination of atmosphere, set design, customer service, and the staff themselves has caused us to fall in love with The Bureau. We recently did theAftwr Dark service they provide which includes 4 rooms back to back with free coffee and half off on all drinks. My group did Possession at Haddon Heights, Lab At Lochness, UFO: Go for Launch, and Dr. Braingood. Dr. Braingood was my second favorite that we did that night due to the setup of the room and the creative puzzles they included. No locks or keys just pure puzzles. This room was straightforward and not too complicated and the use of technology worked incredibly well for the setting. I would recommend this room for a group size of 6 due to the amount of space and the types of puzzles used in the room.

We enjoyed this game although the final challenge was difficult for only two players. If you have a larger team, it should be easier.
