A woman named Josie has recently passed away, leaving behind a storage room filled with decades of collected memories and cryptic secrets. Remnants of her entire life are all here in one place - left for you to discover. As a young girl growing up in the 1960s, Josie was gifted a tape recorder and began documenting every part of her life. But in her old age, she has become almost unrecognizable, warped by the tragic events of her past. The Nest is an intimate, live experience for two audience members at a time, combining elements of immersive theater, narrative video games, serialized podcasts, and escape rooms into a new way to experience a story. Equipped with a flashlight, search through personal effects, explore your surroundings, and listen to audio cassettes to piece together the dramatic narrative of Josie's life.

Once again, I am asking you to experience The Nest. There's not much to add that isn't already in the sea of glowing reviews. This is an immersive narrative experience that is only replicated in video games such as Firewatch (2016) or Gone Home (2013). Only it's actually real. My advice for bringing others is asking: "Would I play a single player video game with this person(s) on the couch?" I personally went solo as I formally created adventure video games and would be insufferable to anyone else. :3

What a beautiful moving story. It was so emotional and so incredibly immersive. One of my top new favorite experiences. Truly breathtaking journey.

All right-I won’t spoil anything! Promise. Go with the idea of a space between an interactive play or close up magic show and the pirates of emirates. There are clues along the way that tell a story and emotionally engage your senses. You shouldn’t read too much about this place, it can ruin what it’s meant to be like-unknown(ooooooo) So, I wouldn’t take a kid. I’d go with only one other person- and just be into it. The end is worth it alone!! I left satisfied and super glad I did it. Game master was engaging, nice and played the part well.

Not an escape room, like others have said, but it’s AMAZING. It’s meant to be an immersive theater with a few puzzles for interactivity. Would not recommend this for people looking for a rush of the hard earned escape. Only do it if you really care about story, & immersion. The set piece is amazing, the story was moving. Overall though it’s a must do for what it is.

We cannot recommend this highly enough. If you’re prepared to feel the story this will be an experience to take with you. Highly recommend.

The topics presented are sensitive and specific. Some individuals enjoy feeling sorrow because they feel it gets their creative juices flowing. Perhaps this experience is for them. For those who enjoy an upbeat experience & do not want to be reminded of the hurtful aspects of life, a different experience may be preferable.

Team of 4, it was a bit of a squeeze but we didn’t mind. It’s essentially a storyline-heavy escape room, there are no live actors. Great production - impressive use of set and gating with tools to control flow through the experience. Recommend.

While this is not an escape room per se, it was the most immersed that we’ve ever been in another world. Beautiful story. Completely immersive. Best production I’ve seen. Highly recommend!

This is not an “escape room”, but it takes familiar mechanics and uses them to take you through an emotional story. Incredible build, great pacing, lots of discovery, difficult themes. Strongly recommended.
