The Set-Design and Props in this room are great! I would go here just for that, the puzzles were fun and wacky, it all comes with a twist just like the room is named after. I appreciated all the effort that went into making this room, but with Alice sometimes not all the puzzles flow together seamlessly and all things considered it was still a relatively easy room. I think our GM could have been more attentive, the intro and departure was very much a hi and bye situation. Depending on your GM this could be a great, not just good experience.

The most commendable aspect of Steampunk Alice is the novelty storytelling of combining two worlds, the whimsy of Wonderland with steampunk subculture. Props were impressive and a little whacky. I will say though that the transition between the elements can feel somewhat abrupt at times. When we first walked in, I was excited to see the cogs, gears, and Victorian-style aesthetic. However, I felt like I didn't see enough of the traditional characters as the experience went on. The logic of the story started to fall apart. As for the puzzles, they were straightforward but nothing new or innovative to make any of them memorable for me. Most of the puzzles also did not really require collaboration among the participants. It was more like a "you got it," next situation. Our GM could also have been a little bit more attentive. We only really heard from her when she said hi and bye. She also had low energy. Depending on your GM, you could have a different experience. Our group had six people. I think 4 people would be the sweet spot in hindsight. This could be great for folks who are new to escape rooms, but may be underwhelming for folks once you get past the props.

The set design is high-concept and fits the cyberpunk vibe of the room. The puzzle flow is spiderweb; we struggled in parts but a couple hints from our GM got us moving forward. There is a story - if the puzzles donβt tell it, ask the GM afterwards.

Trippy room with unique elements to make you feel like you've fallen down the rabbit hole. The second to last room you are in gets tricky because. you need to listen to the audio, which can be difficult if others are trying to solve other puzzles. The final room was stunning to be in, but the puzzles in that room were not easy to follow or understand how we got to a certain answer with the GM's help.

Our walkie wasnβt working. We tried waving at the camera, but nothing. We eventually had to walk out to ask for help only to be told we beat the room, they just need to flip a switch to let us advance. The atmosphere is pretty awesome. Story sounded awesome but we had a hard time matching the puzzles to the theme.

I really enjoyed the overall feel of the room! The sets are beautiful and it was a fun twist on a classic tale! Some characters you love but not how you remember them!

Like other reviews, we too experience at least 3 technical glitches that didnβt trigger the next area. Otherwise, rooms were immersive and very well decorated

One of the best rooms in terms of immersion for me. Crazy good props and atmosphere. Puzzles were good. Nothing new or innovative popped out at me, but was still challenged enough and surprised when solving certain ones. Took someone whos never did an escape room they loved it. Came with 3, I think 3-4 would be sweet spot. 5 and above would feel like βtoo many cooks in the kitchenβ 8.5/10 would highly recommend!
