For years Paw and Maw had been runnin’ neck and jiggly neck with each other but Maw reckons she might could have a new secret recipe so good it’ll put hair on your chest and Paw outta’ business for good -and you can bet Paw ain’t havin’ none of neither! She’s fixin’ to hold a hootenanny tonight to celebrate the launch of her new brew, so there ain’t much tickin’ and a tockin’ left on the old time wheel for Paw to stop ‘er before it’s too late. Even a blind toad that ain’t got but just three legs can see that’s where you come in. No one would ever suspect them fancy city folk is really Paw’s seventh cousins five times removed. It’s time to defend that family honor which’n no one quite understands and put Maw outta’ business fer good. Ya best be hurryin’ cause Maw will be back soon. Paw’s kin’ll give you the tools you’re gonna need to do the job. So what are y’all waitin’ for? Stop listenin’ to me and break into Maw’s shack and blow her ‘shine still to smithereens!

I didn’t care for this game but I think it was due to a poor GM that wasn’t really paying attention or not interested in helping. We were also given an item right away when we entered the room and told we wouldn’t need it until the end of the game, this was not true we needed it for the first puzzle. Took us almost 20 minutes to figure out that we had been misinformed. Some of the puzzles were really cool but some of them felt like whoever designed it was trying to be a bit too cheeky. However, I would recommend this one because I do feel our GM ruined the experience and there is actually a good room here.

I had done the Cracken’s eye in PF a few weeks before and was told I should really try this one as it was a favorite among the Gatlin’s Escape Game Masters. It was a lot of fun and novel puzzles that were very thematic. This goes down as a favorite of mine.

One of my Top Games Played! Great design and fun game play.

A really fun game. Unfortunately, since all of Gatlin’s Escape Games rooms are public, we had to play with another group of four who hadn’t played escape games before. That didn’t stop them from taking over the game…well, until they would get stuck (which happened a lot) and we would jump in and give them some help. Ugh, we despise public rooms, but I really wanted to check this game out. Despite being bulldozed by a group of new players, I could tell that the game was a good one. If you can manage to play without strangers, I would recommend this game.

We have played over a dozen games in Gatlinburg. This is by far my favorite. I usually prefer dark and spooky games but this one was so fun and immersive I loved it. Very clever and fun, it was perfect for Gatlinburg.

I don’t like that it’s not private rooms anymore. We’ve played here in the past and never had strangers joining us as an option.

This room was fun and I would recommend it. The employees were great.

This was a fun game. It seemed at times like they swung too far in the direction of an immersive atmosphere and detracted from some puzzles in the process, relying on searching in very odd places. Also, the big reveal at the end was broken so we lacked that feeling of accomplishment. It’s just not the same when the GM comes on the speaker to say “well, that didn’t work, but you did it right so you won”

The atmosphere of this room was incredible, and our game master was great about keeping with the theme. We had a blast getting into the theme! Some of the puzzles were a bit lackluster in comparison. The final puzzle specifically was a bit finicky and a bit of a time suck, with little reward since the big ending we were working towards malfunctioned for us. Still a fun time was had by all!
