I loved this one. My group of 4 came here after going to a different, disappointing room in Oceanside and we're so glad we did. Our GM Manny was really nice and excited to greet us. We had an amazing time. The game technology in here was advanced and had a lot of new puzzle tech that I haven't seen before. There were enough puzzles for all of us to split up and do at different times (we prefer non linear to linear) so we were all able to split up and do our own things. The room has a smart tech concept that we really appreciated. Overall, probably one of the best ones we've done in San Diego.

Pretty fun, high tech room. Puzzles aren't particularly linear, small group can split up and handle a few at a time. Some puzzles do take a keen eye as well. Good story, and well put together. Somewhat unique story is what caught our attention at first, and it is pretty well done with the integration to the room.

OMG. This was so much fun! Great for my kids for their first experience. A little spooky but a lot of good puzzles. We all played a part in solving this and I think this is the one that got us all started in wanting to do more escape rooms. Highly recommend!

Super friendly staff. It was a fun and different experience to have to interact with the room rather than rely on a GM. Would totally recommend.

Friendly staff, fun unique puzzles.

This was oddly creepy but didn’t have jump scares. The gameplay and puzzles were creative. It was just two of us and my best advice with this one is to have at least three people.

We were taking my nieces (6 & 7) to their first escape room and Steal & Escape was recommended. The Neighbor was really good for them. While I think some of the puzzles went over their heads, both in difficulty and height, it was a really great experience. They had plenty to do and they loved interacting with and talking to the house. I would absolutely recommend this room for families and I think even experienced escape room junkies will have an enjoyable time.

Super interesting experience with a couple of puzzles that really thrilled us. If you can only try one room at this location, I would say pick this one.

We had an okay time in this room. It was a bit dark and hard to see at times without flashlights, but the puzzles were fun and some were very unique. Some of the props were worn and hard to work with, but nothing was broken. We really enjoyed the hint system and the “eyes” puzzle.

This was one of the top 3 rooms I’ve ever played. So fun! Can’t wait to visit San Diego again and play more games here.
“The tech was the star of the show in The Neighbor. It was reliable and was creatively utilized... “
Groups of 2 allowed, but still have to purchase three tickets
