You have been unpacking for a week now as you continue to explore every nook and cranny in your new six-room house. You now understand why the locals were so weary of this house and always avoided it. There are however still some areas you have yet to fully search. One day as you were putting your groceries in the pantry for the first time, you notice a small crease in the wall. You put your hand up to the wall and realize it is actually an indentation. You grab your box cutter that you were just using and poke it right through the gaudy wallpaper that you wanted to replace anyway. You pull the blade across the wall. You hit a hard beam. You turn the blade downward and slice vertically to the floor. As you make the final cut through the wallpaper, the wall opens up and a doorway appears. Before you lies a small six-foot hallway with a door at the end of it. You walk six feet down the hallway to the door and grab the handle. It’s locked. You are glad because you’ve seen enough horror movies to know that you really didn’t want to know what was behind that door. With a sigh of relief, you turn around and walk back towards the kitchen. You take three steps forward, when an icy-cold wind blows right through you, taking the breath out of you. You stop in your tracks. You hear a loud creaking sound behind you. You turn around. The door is open. Again, you’ve seen enough horror movies to know that you shouldn’t so anywhere near that door. But, just as you – the Hardings – were called to this house, you are being called to this doorway. You physically can’t help it. You feel yourself being pulled to the doorway. You find yourself peering down into a dimly-lit basement. Again, you have seen enough horror movies to know that you don’t want to go down those stairs. But, yet again, you are physically pulled by some force down the stairs. The next thing you know you are standing on the cold concrete floor, staring up at the bright light emanating from the only way into and out of the basement. You feel the icy-cold wind again. The door slams shut and locks. The lights go out. You now find yourself trapped in the Seventh Room.

This was by far the scariest room I’ve ever done. Not for the faint of heart. I cried a couple times and had a panic attack. Luckily, the game master asks for a safe word and will run very quickly if used. While we did finish, I still think you should have at least 3 or 4 people to do this room. Someone will be isolated and having more than one person help them get out might have helped more.

This was an amazing room!! Some players get that extra experience during isolation parts and do a lot more. For scaredy cats like me, it was a normal room for me to go through. The puzzles were hard and definitely different than any other I’ve seen before. Bring brave friends to this room to do the scary parts!! Definitely manageable though

I wanted to love this room and probably would have if there hadn’t been so many malfunctioning parts. I would still say try it out it but maybe it’s just old and needs some touch ups? The biggest problem was that they did TELL us if something was malfunctioning even if we already should have triggered something. We wasted about 10 min and got hints on a puzzle we already correctly solved but a latch failed to release. Something similar happened two more times .

Always treated amazing, but 7th room was Aces all around! Love the story depth and stream thru all rooms and is best room yet so far of all we have tried. Can't wait for diner, asylum, paper place, etc. Etc. Soo many (which is a good thing) Staff was outstanding as well and super helpful, friendly, and great game masters!

Out of the 5 rooms we did at Dare 2 Escape, our favorite was The Seventh Room. I’d rank the rooms as followed: Seventh Room At the Hop Ice Cream Shoppe Video Store Ringmaster Paper Company If you could only choose one room to do & you don’t mind a spooky theme, I’d recommend Seventh Room. It felt more surprising than the other rooms, & was a bit more physical, which I find exciting. The 5 rooms we did at Dare 2 Escape have many puzzles. 🧩 If playing as a couple, Paper Company may be the best option, followed by the Seventh Room & then Hop. The other rooms may feel a bit fast-pace as a couple, & may be more enjoyable as a party of 3. With Ringmaster, we split up to complete the puzzles in a timely fashion.

One of the worst rooms I’ve done, almost walked out thirty minutes into it and was way too dark to sort through most puzzles effectively and no flashlights or phones allowed. Another one of their rooms I was sorely disappointed in.
