This is not a game anymore... this is something different. You've somehow foiled Edward Tandy and escaped The Basement in Chapter 1. You've managed to make it out once again after Edward and his assistant placed your sleeping body in The Elevator Shaft in Chapter 2. In Chapter 3, things have changed and you're treading on turf that Edward never expected you to gain access to. You've made it into his Study. In The Study, you and your team have made your way into the upper quarters of the Tandy family home. He Is VERY unhappy that you have encroached on his personal space and he plans to make you pay dearly for this mistake. In Chapter 3, you will find out more than you ever hoped about our matriarch obsessed serial killer. With event and theatrical puzzles, your level of interaction will need to take a step up in order to see the light of day ever again.

This was definitely my second least favorite from The Basement. Game showed a clear lack of maintenance, puzzles were taken out over time, though no attempt was made to hide that, you could see areas where wall colors were different from previous picture frames, idols that did nothing etc..no puzzles felt very memorable or innovative. The live actor was once again very pushy, opening locks for us, after the key we tried didn’t quite work first try, literally dropping a key on my coworker’s head in spite of playing a blind person, etc…

Great story that continues the story of our struggles to escape. The room design was well done, puzzles were good, and our actor was great!

Great game, the live actor definitely gave us some hints but she didn’t just give us the answer. More of a nudge in the right direction. Definitely would recommend this room for anyone with a few games under their belts, not crazy difficult but fs a great time.

Best escape room ever with a live actor. Hilariously terrifying & great production quality & acting.

This room, and the basement series in general, are all really good and I had a lot of fun with them! This room had some really unique moments and cool interactions with the love actor. That being said, this is probably my least favorite of the four rooms in this series. I did all of them with my partner, and this was the only one we didn't complete on time. We got stuck on one of the very last puzzles, but after time had expired, the game master and live actor told us it seemed like we had solved it correctly and they weren't really sure why it wasn't triggering what it was supposed to. In this room, you can't ask for hints, and after a certain point, they stop giving you any, so we weren't given any help or guidence, depsite having solved the puzzle correctly. I'm not sure if the puzzle was broken or if it was just really finicky, but either way, it was an incredibly frustrating way to lose the room. I would still recommend this room, but just something to keep in mind.

First time at a horror themed escape room, amazing staff, had a group of 6 that required full communication. Once we understood the story and how the room puzzles were coming together it became a better experience. Live actor performed well for us even though we were runnin all over the place. Good escape room

The live actor definitely plays a huge part in the story and I loved every single moment of it! The story flowed well, the puzzles were straightforward and not too difficult and fit with the storyline well. I was definitely expecting to be scared since it is the basement, but this room wasn’t too bad!

Live actors in this one. Cussing at you to finish. Way fun

We did the dead and breakfast package where you get to do all 4 escape rooms back to back. This worked for us since our team loves out of area. This one in particular was pretty scary and had challenging puzzles. It also was pretty realistic since it included a live actor. I enjoyed this one.

There were ups and downs to this room. The actor portion is great. The beginning is really fun. But there are puzzle portions that were really frustrating. I enjoyed this more than chapter 1
