The Pyramid

I was really excited for this game but unfortunately the experience was completely ruined. The set design and overall theme was great but many of the puzzles didn’t work correctly or weren’t reset prior to us getting there. Also the GM was in the room with us and was too involved. He gave unsolicited hints and was telling us “oh you finished that now go do this.” We aren’t a super outspoken group so next time I’ll for sure preface by saying we want zero hints. He was also resetting the room behind us as we continued through the game. It really took away from the immersive experience.

Fun adventure game, don't let the building fool you, the game has good production value. You will need a group of four or more to get through this one. So many puzzles. Game features no locks.

Lots of movable objects and mechanisms. Had reasonable amounts of co-operative, divide and conquer to a linear puzzle scheme. Some rooms had information overload, so it does require taking in a lot.

One of Escape Room LA’s better rooms. Production value was amazing.

For a room as old as it is was typical for that timeline. Theme and props were great and top tier, did see age but again typical in a game with this many years on it. Puzzles were interesting and is hard because you need to stop and think. I liked that but needed help with my group to complete the harder stuff. I accidentally figured out a few things, played it off line I meant to do it, lol.

Super fun production design!

This game was full of fun surprises and the puzzles demanded attention but weren’t frustrating. Had a really good flow and many more puzzles than anticipated!!!

Great room!! Thought the staff member would have been more in character and more of a live actor, but just stood there, watched us and gave clues.
