Thereβs no scale that effectively rates this room. Ok so if youβve been on the escape room scene for any length of time, Iβm sure youβve heard about this room. Itβs quite simply, phenomenal. Honestly, itβs so good I was absolutely speechless. This is not just an escape room, itβs a captivating, all encompassing, full blown experience. At moments, youβll forget youβre even doing an escape room It is FILLED with perfectly designed, incredibly clever, extremely enjoyable, expertly themed puzzles. Every room forevermore will be compared to this one because itβs just setting the bar for escape rooms. Jonathan is one of the best and offers so many incredible rooms- everyone should take the trip to Quebec to experience them.

Wardrobe for Sale is an epic escape room. If all you have experienced are rooms with riddles and puzzles and locks and keys, buckle up! This is not your average escape room. This world transports you into a story that will make you laugh, cry, and engage in the room in a way you never imagined. With a full character list, enormous Disney level set and fun and unique puzzles that flow flawlessly throughout the room, Wardrobe for sale is Canada's number 1 escape room for good reason!!!!

Okay so had heard amazing things about this game and they were true! FOR THE MOST PART! That said, my major critique is that there was just far too much staff dialogue/script for my taste. This isnβt the fault of the staff (they were excellent) but the story needed to be shown not told because probably a good 30 minutes of the room was spent getting the story told to us by various characters and it messed with the pacing in a big way. As a set junkie, though, this one was unreal, tho, including an incredibly scene transition that truly needs to be seen to be believed.

Out of 500+ rooms in 7 countries, this one is definitely top 25, maybe top 10.. maybe top 5. We usually don't care for an emphasis on immersion or storytelling, but Escaparium knows how to do it right. While there was a little too much theatre for our personal preference, it's cool and it's a two hour room so we didn't feel like we were trading puzzles for a show. The characters were also great! The hint system is amazing, and Elliot was AMAZING. I seriously can not imagine someone doing a better job. The set was amazing. Cute and whimsical. Just perfect. The puzzles were varied and fitting and fun. If I had to have a complaint, it would be that you never feel like you can fail. That's not our style but everything else absolutely makes up for it and more. Especially if you know going in to accept this as an experience soak it in. It's worth every penny. Do it.

Just amazing, the system of clues is unique, never seen anything like it! The puzzles were really fun. Everything was just something else.

From such an unassuming name for a room, this was an experience thatβs just hard to describe (but definitely in a good way!). I will say, it was a delightful adventure with some things I did not think were possible in an escape room. And the clue system was so fun that it made me want to ask for clues I didnβt even need lol.

Tied for my favorite of all time. Excellent in-room hint system, fun & fair puzzles, and excellent set design. Not to mention the many delightful surprises. This is a must-play for everyone!

How do I convince everyone to play this without giving away a single thing?? ππ€―π€― There are things that happen in here that not only have I not seen anywhere else, I never expected to see, not sure I thought were even possible. That someone made this with their own two hands without a department of Imagineers has me literally taken aback. The puzzles are fun though the interaction and set are more the star of the show... This was like a cross between a personalized playground and being in a movie for 2h. Ten out of five stars π€©

You'll have the best experience with the right expectations. Although your GM will inform you that this is more of an immersive narrative experience than a traditional escape room, you should also be aware that the GM will be holding your hand through a lot of the actual puzzling. Incredible set design and one of the most magical set transitions/reveals I've ever experienced. Our group was legitimately in awe and giggling like children for one particular moment in this game. That being said, the gameplay itself felt lacking, largely because we were never left to discover what the room had to offer on our own. The first portion is this experience is packed with a ton of puzzles and essentially you'll be working to complete as many as you can within an hour, and you should expect to not get to all of them. But because there is a ton to do, the GM/game designers didn't seem to account for time for players to explore and discover what this magical land has to offer. Even if the main point of the room is the narrative this just didn't feel compelling or satisfying. During the second half of the experience the hand-holding was increased and what initially felt thrilling soon become dull. There was also a few confusing/unclear puzzles that were hindered by some bad tech. All that being said, I can't help but applaud how ambitious this room is. I LOVE that escaparium really tried to push the envelope with this one and I will always want to check out what they do next.
