Breakout seems to use misdirection to slow down play as opposed to executing enjoyable puzzles well. Lots of charts and graphs throughout the game as we have come to expect. The "clue" theme style added some interest. Over all an ok room but could have been done much better.
Forest of EchoesNext Level EscapeEscape roomIRLA fun whimsical game with an immersive set design and theme. Fun interaction with a passionate game master is what will make or break this experience! Worth the stop in Sydney!

Great theme, good puzzles and once they get up and running smoothly (we went during soft launch) any hiccups we had will surely be solved. It's a well built set and we had a lot of fun with the game! Not super hard and probably best for smaller groups and kids would love it! Staff was very nice and want you to enjoy your experience.
Lost CityEscapology - WaterlooEscape roomIRLThis room has a lot of fun elements and I always love a mayan temple design. A nice mix of tech and hands on puzzles, on theme and nice set design. Some miscues and puzzle issues made the flow less than optimal and it would be a rare room that would benefit by turning down the overhead lights a bit but we visited during soft launch so I am sure this will only get better with time and training. Not my favourite room at Ecapology but still an enjoyable experience and worth doing.
Batman™: The Dark Knight ChallengeEscapology - WaterlooEscape roomIRLThe bat cave! This was surprisingly fun for a team that does not love a room full of tech, computers and switches. There is jenough hands on puzzles to keep it fun for teams who like emersive games and the logic problems are not drawn out so it keeps the game moving. All your favourite characters make an appearance and overall it was a fun room! I would say good for small to medium sized teams and it's a bonus if you like batman but you don't need any outside knowledge to get it done.

The set design is fun and the puzzles are on point but you are left feeling like you're missing out a bit with all the fun puzzles you can see but don't get to use. Still a good room with some unique puzzles and worth doing but I wish it was all one big experience and you got to play everything!

Obviously a pop up room on a cruise ship isn't going to be the highest level of design but we had fun and were glad to have it as an activity option!

I get the point system is supposed to bring players back for future tries but it just isn't my favourite way to play. The room design is great, some great elements and atmosphere for sure! Non linear room for the most part and puzzles that were sometimes simple and sometimes over complicated but a good mix for a group. We missed the last puzzle altogether due to darkness -we didn't even see it! lol. But we got close enough to the ending to not feel like we missed out on anything.

Great theme and size, perfectly suited to be in an arcade - family friendly and kids groups would enjoy it. Puzzles, even on advanced mode, are not difficult but flowed well and made sense. Well done room that made us want to do all the others!

Not many puzzles, I think 12 or so so we finished it quickly as a team of 2 but still had a nice time. One puzzle in particular was unnecessarily obscure but the rest all made sense and were on theme.
RobotcalypseOmventure - MarkhamEscape roomIRLA nice take on a space/futuristic style themed room. This plays more like a videogame than an escape room but was still enjoyable and done well. The secondary rooms were our favourite part and the mix of puzzles was appreciated. For the type of room it is it was very well done!
Sinister Circus: The Joker's LegacyOmventure - MarkhamEscape roomIRLThis was a fun unique take on a circus theme and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! If you are hard of hearing or have poor eyesight keep this in mind, but the game flow, puzzles and atmosphere were all wonderful!
