I honestly donโ€™t understand the hype or how this room won an award. To each their own, I guess, but this room was a huge disappointment and certainly not worth the cost for 2 people โ€” I donโ€™t think it wouldโ€™ve been worth it for 4 people either though. The room lacked direction and flow. The puzzles were tedious and frustrating. As a seasoned enthusiast, I shouldnโ€™t need to ask for hints for every step of the game. The game master was very cold towards us too and that made this already-bad game an even worse experience.

This room was extremely frustrating. Iโ€™ve done 100+ rooms and would easily put this one in the bottom 5. It was not intuitive and did not flow well at all. There were times I knew what to do but the mechanics of the task were too difficult and tedious to be enjoyable. Other times, I had to ask for help several times on the same puzzle because it just did not make sense. I really wanted to enjoy this game โ€” itโ€™s been on my wishlist for a long time and has decent reviews overall. But it was a very aggravating disappointment. I shouldnโ€™t have to ask for hints for nearly every puzzle due to such large leaps in logic.

Iโ€™m a fairly experienced player (have played nearly 80 games), and this was hands down the worst room Iโ€™ve ever played. It didnโ€™t flow at all. The puzzles didnโ€™t really make much sense, and the GM was terrible. She gave vague clues that didnโ€™t really help (and in some cases, she made it worse because her โ€œguidanceโ€ wasnโ€™t correct/was contradictory). She seemed irritated that we even needed help at all. In most rooms, I rarely need to ask for any hints โ€” maybe one or two nudges and thatโ€™s it. But in this room, we needed to ask for help on almost every single puzzle. Also, the room didnโ€™t have a timer showing in the room nor did it have any sounds that helped you keep track of time. So in addition to it being a terrible room with a terrible GM, you had to keep track of your time yourself. Avoid this place at all costs.

This room was amazing; Iโ€™d highly recommend it! The site ranked it as 10/10 difficulty, but my group of 4 comfortably beat it with a little over 8 minutes remaining. It was massive, with tons of puzzles, but the puzzles themselves werenโ€™t any harder than in other rooms (there were just more of them). I really appreciated the creativeness and originality of this room. Despite having done 50+ rooms, there were still puzzles and concepts in this room that Iโ€™d not seen done before.
