Metropolis 2099Dream LabsEscape roomIRLWe first played The Legend of the Heartless Pirate and really enjoyed the live act. We had actually expected more of it, not just a short appearance, but that wasn’t a problem at all. Overall, the room was incredible in terms of intensity, attention to detail, and authenticity. It’s truly amazing what they’ve created in such a small town. Thank you for the great experience and the friendly interaction!
Der Spielzeugmacher [Toy Maker]Big Break HamburgEscape roomIRLAs already known, the escape room is one of the best in Germany. We were not disappointed. The room was designed with great attention to detail. Every element had a purpose. We played it as a team of two, which left us with little time to fully appreciate the room. The only negative aspect is that the 60-minute game time is too short for two people to let the room take effect.
Die Legende vom herzlosen Piraten [The Tale of the Heartless Pirate]Dream LabsEscape roomIRLI’ve played quite a few escape rooms by now, but none has made me drift into another reality from the moment I entered the location quite like this one. I honestly wondered whether this was really an escape room or something more. The whole experience began the moment I stepped inside and kept me captivated until the very end. The live act was incredible and made me immerse even deeper into the world. Since we only stayed for one day, we asked if it might be possible to play Metropolis 2099 in the morning — and a staff member kindly opened the room just for us. We definitely have to come back to play Lost, the last room we haven’t experienced yet from this amazing provider.
Drachenhöhle 2.0 [Dragon Cave 2.0]Open the DoorEscape roomIRLI’ve played quite a few escape rooms, even more than I’ve noted here, and this was by far the best one I’ve experienced. You can really feel the love and attention to detail that went into it, and our gamemaster turned it into a truly memorable adventure. Unfortunately, it’s a bit far from Northern Germany – otherwise I would have already played every room this company offers.
Das Geheimnis der Uhrmacherin [The Watchmaker]Harz EscapeEscape roomIRLThe escape room gave us great pleasure. The gamemaster was also the managing director, whose strong passion for the subject was immediately evident. This became clear from the very beginning. The welcome and the introduction to the room were delivered with great expressiveness and emotional depth, which immediately created a strong sense of motivation and suspense. Both the storyline and the room itself were highly convincing. The exceptional setting deserves special mention, as it clearly reflects the high level of care taken in its design. The room demonstrates a well-thought-out concept and a remarkable attention to detail. In addition, it was explained that the room is continuously being further developed, which further underlines its high quality standards.
Das Geheime Elixier [The Secret Elixir]Hidden GamesEscape roomIRLWe played this escape room with two people, although a minimum of four players was stated. In advance, I asked whether this minimum number was strictly necessary to solve the puzzles successfully or whether it served other purposes. We were informed that this depends on the specific room. In general, all rooms are playable with two people. However, some puzzles require a higher number of players to be solved without assistance. In such cases, support from the game master is possible, but it is deliberately not recommended in order to avoid diminishing the overall experience. It should be noted that we are very experienced players and regularly participate in escape rooms. For the room The Secret Elixir, two players are sufficient. All puzzles can be solved independently with this group size. The room is therefore very well suited for smaller groups. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that the team opened especially for us at 9:30 a.m. This gesture struck us as exceptionally customer-friendly. The location itself is convincing from the very beginning. Several puzzles are integrated into the waiting area, revealing small secrets when solved. This creates a high level of entertainment even before the actual game begins. The room itself perfectly completed the experience. The design is highly detailed, and the attention to detail is immediately apparent. Although the theme references Jägermeister, alcohol consumption is not glorified. As a result, the room is also well suited for younger players. Overall, it was a very successful visit. In retrospect, we were glad that we had booked two escape rooms with this provider for the same day.
Post aus der Vergangenheit [Post From The Past] [Outdoor]Harz EscapeEscape roomIRLI am generally not a fan of outdoor escape rooms, as many concepts barely integrate the surroundings and the city into the game. However, this outdoor escape room is fundamentally different. The city and even individual residents are actively involved in the gameplay. The experience was exceptionally entertaining. We chose this option because we were on vacation with our dog and therefore could not visit an indoor escape room with the entire group. This alternative proved to be very suitable. The support provided by the staff was consistently positive. They were extremely friendly and available at all times. Continuous tracking of the group was possible, although we did not notice this during the game and only learned about it afterwards. This was not necessary, however, as the puzzles were very well designed.
JailbreakBig Break HamburgEscape roomIRLWe found the escape room interesting. It is an exciting room. The staff were friendly. However, the room does not stand out from the crowd. It is still worth a visit.
Hexenmeister [Sorcerer]Hidden GamesEscape roomIRLWe played this escape room with two people, although a minimum of three players was stated. In advance, I asked whether this minimum number was strictly necessary to successfully solve the puzzles or whether it served other purposes. We were informed that this depends on the specific room. In general, all rooms are playable with two people. However, some puzzles require a higher number of players to be solved without assistance. In such cases, support from the game master is possible, but it is deliberately not recommended in order not to detract from the overall experience. It should be noted at this point that we are very experienced players and regularly play escape rooms. For the room The Sorcerer, two players are sufficient. All puzzles can be solved independently with this group size. The room is therefore very well suited for smaller groups. Particularly positive was the fact that we were allowed to continue playing despite slightly exceeding the scheduled 60 minutes. While this should be standard practice, unfortunately it is not always the case. I really like the idea of having the Sorcerer and the Witch Hunter compete against each other. Whichever side reaches its goal first wins. I find this concept especially interesting for corporate events. Unfortunately, we were only able to play one of the two rooms because there were just two of us. However, this was not a problem at all. While the competitive thrill of beating friends is missing, the time pressure is still fully present. Apart from two puzzles that did not seem entirely logical to me, I found the room overall quite good. It does not quite reach the level of The Secret Elixir, but it is still well worth playing. The attention to detail is also strong in this room. What makes the room particularly memorable is the opening, which caused quite a bit of stress for my girlfriend and me and was very effective in creating tension.
Wikinger - Der Zorn der GötterImmersion Escape BremenEscape roomIRLThe location is inconspicuous. You cannot tell that there is an escape room on the first floor, but once you enter the rooms the strange feeling disappears. The room was genuinely exciting and interesting. The puzzles were fitting and well coordinated. It is definitely worth visiting the location.
